Palworld Gold Cattiva Card Surpasses $10,000 in PSA 10 Auction Just Weeks After TCG Launch

Palworld’s first trading card game is already producing surprisingly valuable collectibles, with an ultra-rare Gold Soul Cattiva card reaching more than $10,000 in an ongoing auction. The card comes from the game’s debut Dawn of Palpagos expansion, which launched on July 30, 2026, giving the relatively new TCG a major moment in the collectibles market.

The card’s value is largely driven by its extremely limited availability and its PSA 10 Gem Mint grade. With the auction still active, the current bid does not yet represent a completed sale, meaning the final price could rise further before bidding closes.

Gold Soul Cattiva Becomes Palworld TCG’s Biggest Chase Card

The Palworld Official Card Game launched with Dawn of Palpagos, a set containing 100 standard card types and 61 parallel variants. Among the cards discovered by collectors was a mysterious all-gold Cattiva Soul card carrying the SSS rarity, quickly establishing itself as one of the set’s most desirable pulls.

The first Gold Soul Cattiva to receive a PSA 10 grade reached $10,350 after 61 bids on September 2. The eBay auction is scheduled to close on September 3, so its eventual selling price could exceed the current figure.

The card’s population status is another major factor behind the enormous bid. The listing identifies it as a population-one collectible, meaning it was the only Gold Soul Cattiva recorded by PSA with a Gem Mint 10 grade at the time of the auction.

The milestone is particularly notable because it came only 34 days after the Palworld TCG launched. For comparison, a first-edition Pokémon Charizard sold for $8,800 in 2016, 17 years after its original release. However, Palworld’s early five-figure price should not be interpreted as evidence that its cards have reached Pokémon’s long-established collector market.

A PSA 10 first-edition Charizard sold for $550,000 in December 2025, while a PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator reached a record $16.5 million in February 2026. Those sales demonstrate just how much further the established Pokémon market extends compared with a brand-new trading card game.

The Gold Cattiva’s current price could also change considerably as more collectors submit their copies for grading. If additional cards receive PSA 10 grades, the population-one premium could disappear and potentially bring the card’s market value down.

Ungraded copies are currently estimated at around $1,550, with recent completed sales reportedly ranging from approximately $1,700 to $2,500. For now, the $10,350 figure remains an active auction bid rather than a confirmed completed sale, making the September 3 closing price the key figure to watch.
