The Summer House star, 32, announced the split on the Monday, December 30 episode of the “Giggly Squad” podcast, which she co-hosts with Hannah Berner.
“Craig and I have decided to end our relationship,” DeSorbo revealed. “I love him, and I think he loves me. We’ll stay friends. There was no wrongdoing—it wasn’t anything negative. We were just honest about our needs and what we wanted for the future. It’s empowering to have those conversations in real-time.”
DeSorbo also reflected on the changes she’s experienced in her 30s, calling this phase of life “transformative.” She expressed love and admiration for Conover, 35, saying she still has immense respect for him.
“He’s one of the best people I’ve ever met. I’ll always be his biggest fan and want the best for him because he truly deserves it. But this decision is what’s right for both of us,” she said.
The announcement follows weeks of speculation, which Conover had previously denied. In a recent interview with E! News, the Southern Charm star dismissed rumors of a breakup, saying, “We’re together almost every week. So, no, Paige and I are not broken up.”
DeSorbo and Conover’s romance began in 2021 while filming Winter House. They confirmed their relationship that September, attending the wedding of fellow Bravolebrities Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula.
The pair maintained a long-distance relationship, with DeSorbo based in New York City and Conover residing in Charleston, South Carolina. Conover previously shared how they managed the challenges of living apart, citing communication and flexibility as key.
“It’s about focusing on the present and not letting the unknowns of the future affect our happiness today,” Conover told Us Weekly in September. He acknowledged the difficulties of their arrangement but credited technology and travel for allowing them to split their time between two great cities.
Earlier this month, Conover described DeSorbo as a “strong, independent, career-driven woman” during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. He admitted they were taking things day by day and had no immediate plans for engagement.
“We’re happy with who we are as a couple right now,” he said. “We focus on the week ahead instead of worrying about the future.”
Despite their split, both DeSorbo and Conover appear committed to supporting one another as they move forward separately.
