Netflix originals seem to have a very strong effect on people. It’s just something about them being so dramatic and theatrical that it just leaves goosebumps. Let’s talk about Our Beloved Summer cast. The Netflix original, Our Beloved Summer, takes melodramatic to a different level. My biggest irritation while watching shows, is seeing how small misunderstandings lead to so many conflicts and unnecessary grudges.
Only if that one character confirmed what they heard, or only if that person asked instead of walking away, things would be different. It just pisses me off to see best friends distance from each other just because someone ‘misinterpret’ something. Best of friends. Friends that seemed inseparable. Just like that. They fall apart. These sorts of events in dramas are painful to watch.
It is simply unfair to watch as well. The drama serial, Our Beloved Summer, has that same occurrence. Of course, reconciliation does happen, but quite later. Although, the main reason the drama reached so much popularity and became the most-watched was because of the actual cast of the show.
First of all, the Our Beloved Summer cast seemed super young, perfectly fitting their roles. The cast of Our Beloved Summer stars Kim Da Mi, Choi Woo Sik, Kim Sung Cheol, and Park Jin Joo as the main cast. Some short clips of the set off-cameras show the Our Beloved Summer cast adorably interacting with each other. The audience then immediately fell in love so much more with the show and its cast.
