Oshi No Ko Chapter 115 Recap
The chapter starts right after it was left in the last chapter, with it being Ruby’s turn to act on what a lie is to her. Ruby starts thinking about what lies are and whether acting is included. She thinks about how acting is her forte and how Aqua once told her that she would become an actress someday. After all, she had been acting all her life.
She was given the role of Ruby Hoshino, the daughter of AI Hoshino, overcoming her mother’s death and becoming a bright and innocent idol. She used to play the role of Sarina Tendouji, a brave and cute girl who understood her parents and worked hard in a faraway place.
She knows if she did not do that, she would only be weak and unable to live. Hiding the real self, hiding the ugly feelings inside her, was acting too. She wonders if her mother is the same, acting by hiding her strong emotions despite looking so bright.
She then starts her part, saying it is painful, hateful, heartbreaking, and ridiculous—leaving the girls shocked. Ruby says how it is so unforgivable, annoying, and disgusting. It is awful, and she dreams about the day her mother died. Why did she have to die? She says she thinks about that and is scared to like someone.
She says she wants to go where everyone is and die too. Both girls are shocked and frozen when she suddenly breaks the character saying that she was kidding, which was a lie.
Frill asks Akane what she thought of the acting, to which she says she was still lacking a little and that if she gets enough practice, she would be unstoppable. After this, Akane stands up and says how she will take on the challenge of acting what a lie is.
The chapter ends with Akane calling Frill out,, saying she wanted Ruby to play the role since the start. She says how the audition today will determine who plays the great role of AI Hoshino.
