If you had forgotten, amidst the epic battle between the New Luffy and Kaido, there is a raging fire going on in the Onigashima. This fire is taking a heavy toll on the beast pirates and the samurais alike. Unlike the previous two chapters, we again have a chapter with everyone’s perspective. While there is comedy in the chapter, there is also fire which is almost killing everyone. What will happen in One Piece Chapter 1046?
Will Luffy abandon his battle and save everyone from the fire? Or is it time for the other Straw Hats Pirates or Samurai to shine. Unlike the last chapter, which featured great combat between Kaido and Luffy, we will witness the climactic point before the final battle. While every other significant impediment, such as Big Mom, King, and Queen, has vanished, the last attempts of the other straw hats, pirates, and samurai are recounted in One Piece Chapter 1046.
Previously On One Piece Chapter 1045
The long-awaited fruit awakening of Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no mi or, shall I say, Hobi Hobi no mi thrilled the hearts of One Piece fans in Chapter 1045, “Next Level.” It has been confirmed that it is Gear 5. The battle was both epic and hilarious. As if the conflict were a game, we observe Luffy continually grinning and enjoying himself. We even saw Luffy as gigantic at one time; he appeared to be a God.
The battle kept getting more fun, with Luffy seeming like a child more than ever. With his ability to turn into a giant, he even used Kaido’s dragon form as a Skipping rope. I couldn’t believe that part. Thanks to the awakening, he used grounds as a jump force to counterattack Kaido while coming as a race car. The chapter ends with Luffy punching Kaido in the face, and as soon as the punch touches Kaido’s face, his face is turned into rubber. Luffy says, “I’m having the time of my life! Kaido!”
One Piece Chapter 1046 Raw Scans & Spoilers: Is Luffy Joyboy?
The One Piece Chapter 1046 is titled “Raizo”. We can only assume that the chapter is dedicated to our only ninja in the world of pirates and samurai from the chapter’s title. The front page of the chapter features “The chocolate town” pudding’s turf with a pair of intruders. The chapter begins on the rooftop of Onigashima while Luffy is jumping and Kaido is lying down exhausted. Kaido, while painting, asks Luffy, “Who the hell… are you”?
Then we see Zunesha in a very happy state and recalling the “Doom Dut Da Da” sound. Zunesha states that it seems like Joyboy is right here, and it is all fate that Luffy is a new Joyboy. Luffy answers Kaido’s question with a question, “Who, me? He further says that he is a person who’s going to surpass Kaido and become the King of the Pirates. And Luffy’s new ability allows him to make anything into rubber, even Kaido himself when Luffy is punching him. With fire raging even at the top of the Onigashima, Kaido states Luffy’s men are going to die, but Luffy says he believes in his comrades and he is got nothing to worry about them.
The Fire In The Castle
The whole castle is on fire as it resembles the day Kaido raided Oden’s house to kill him. Everything is a mess, and Straw hats are not able to find each other. One of the Samurai feels sorry for Brook as he is a burned up corpse, and Bepo is not able to resist the heat, and he is passing out. All the straw hats pirates state that they are trapped, and they don’t see a way out of this fire.
Meanwhile, Raizo and Jinbei are prepared to put out the fire on the fourth floor of the inside fortress. Raizo reflects on the day when he was unable to save Oden and his family when they were on fire. He vows not to make the same mistake again and that he will not let the samurai and pirates perish in a fire. He folds a massive amount of water using his ninja ability. Jinbei, using his Fishman Jutsu, distributes water throughout the castle, rescuing everyone.
The Falling Of Onigashima
The last two panels of One Piece chapter 1046 illustrate the falling of Onigashima. Yamato says that it is all up to Momonuske to sustain the flame clouds and keep Onigashima in the air. The last panel features Luffy and Kaido as Onigashima is falling.
