It had been three chapters, and we still hadn’t seen a Yandere character in the story. The three chapters should make it clear that the pacing of the story will be slow, revealing one thing at a time.
This is contrary to the first chapter of the series, where we were introduced to the main character in just a few panels. Have their relationship explained and their motivations for what they want to do in the future. Things quickly turned sour as the village turned against our protagonist for false charges of murdering his friend.
It was the other way around, but MC is one of the rarer breeds in the world, and they get mistreated in the village. Moreover, Kiska (the MC of this series) got the worst punishment for being thrown into the dungeon. The dungeon is known for its notoriously high difficulty and high kill count for all those that attend it.

He had a hard time experimenting with the skills that he had gotten his hands on. But, he is patient and dedicated, if not anything, so much so that Subaru would be proud.
The first skill that Kiska got was a ring that allowed him to choose from C to S rank. However, the moment he chose it, the door to the outside closed, and he was forced to fight ten monsters at once. He first used the most logical skill of acceleration, but he couldn’t handle the speed.
After many tries, when he could no longer rely on the skill, he decided to experience all the other skills. Each skill gave him a flavor of what it could do and how to best utilize them, though he ended up taking the C rank skill in the end. It is pretty lackluster, but it helped him finish the room in one go.

Instead, he would be running for life from the headless fire horses that would be on his tail. And while escaping them, he comes across a room where he will find a secret room with a girl trapped inside the crystal.
Kiska will free the girl, and the two will form a mutual alliance, trying their best to get out of the place. And along the way, the girl (soon to be Yandere) will get feelings for our MC, and they will be wholesome in the beginning. Making it so that everything would look alright between them, but given the title of the series, things will turn sour at one point.
