This chapter takes us into the next part of the story, if you thought Horikoshi was stalling up until this point, well, I assure you he no longer is because things are getting serious now if there were not already. Before we get into it, let’s first take a look at what happened previously in the story.
We saw that UA was falling, and there were not any heroes available to stop it from falling until suddenly Gentle showed up like La Brava did in the previous chapter, they also allowed Gentle to help the heroes out in this Final War. He was also extremely buffed by La Brava’s love quirk, and he used his Gently Super Lover to stop UA from falling.
At the same time, Shigaraki was free to use all of his quirks because Izawa had been knocked by the Twice Clone, and as he was about to touch the clone to like completely nuke the place, suddenly his hand was shot off, it revealed that Lady Nagant was there as well just like Gentle, she is a former villain who came back as a hero, helping out everyone in this final arc.
That brings us to the beginning of this chapter, where we see a flashback of the Central Hospital, where guess who? Kurogiri woke up. Because of this, everyone is screaming, and then we see Doctor Mario, who says that Nagant can not go moving around, but she still yells at him and asks him about the location of the enemy.

Mario says to her that he can’t tell her because she is in custody and was a former villain, but then Nagant tells him that it was Midoriyo who told her to fight alongside the heroes, to save the people in this final war. Later we see that Rock Lock shows up, who allows her to join the war alongside the heroes, and then he gives her a device that holds all the information of the enemies.
This is pretty cool, and as it says, it’s happening right after Kurogiri woke up, so this is like, I guess moment after Spinner and present, Mike had broken into the hospital trying to get Kurogiri, and Rock Lock was there as well, helping against the heteromorphic protest, so it’s understandable that he had been there to give Nagant the orders.
The scene changes to the present, where we see Nagant again, who wanted to do at least one more shot off to pay back Midoriya and Hawks because they brought her back to the real world from the darkness, believed in her, and reminded her who she is and her capabilities. They, as she said, shoot the other hand of Shigaraki.
Then we see Deku, who completely understands what is happening, and we also see him smiling. Nagant’s that shot even provokes All For One, who says out of hatred that everything with her makes no sense because first, she killed innocent people and even her allies, and now she is playing a victim card in the final war, and then suddenly fingers start coming out of his mouth.
The fingers are none other than Shigaraki, who laughs at All For One and says to him that his plan to use others didn’t work. He also reveals to All For One that he already knows that the only reason he raised him in the first place was only that he wanted to piss off All Might and then use the hatred he would produce to steal One For All from him, but that plan of his was also turned out to be a complete failure.
Although it seems like the fusion has worked, we also see Shigaraki keeping his origin alive deep inside his heart. Becasue of this, he can now get his personality back, not completely but little by little, without letting All For One notice, and is trying to create a way out of his control.
Alright, so this confirms that Shigaraki does, in fact, know what All For One’s master plan is, we were not really sure of this, but we assumed that he had to be aware of at least some kind of nefarious plan going on, and it turns out that this whole Tenko personality shard thing is Shigaraki’s doing like this was not just something that happened.
I thought that this may have been a side effect of All For One trying to fuse with Shigaraki’s consciousness, but no, it turns out that this was something Shigaraki did purposely in order to stop All For One from taking over his consciousness.
Later, All for One despairs and orders Kurogiri to use his quirk and teleport him to the place where his real body resides, but as his power got glitched, there is no place to go for All For One. Although he says that he has to protect Shigaraki, we finally start to see Shirakumo’s face, though slowly, but yeah, something is better than nothing, who is in fact saying, “who… where… friends”.
The last time we saw All For One, he was trying to fly the UA in order to get Shigaraki’s body becasue he said that there is one last thing that needed to be done for the body we complete or something like that, we just assume that he needs to physically be there, I will like take over his body or something.
As he go there, he was stopped by Hawks. So I think he is still there, and he was trying to get Kurogirito to wrap him there, but it obviously wasn’t working out becasue he is like glitching into Shirakomo still, which I think he eventually will become before the series ends.
Then we again see Shigaraki, who, while continuing his speech says that he does not require All For One anymore. He also believes that his heart will never surrender to the heroes, just as Nagant and Gentle did, and the world originated the house as it is right now, and this was the world in which he was born, and this is the reason why Tomura Sigaraki and Tenko Shimuro have the same wish.
After saying all of this, he starts to emerge from the bundle of those hands and fingers. He then ends up his this emotional speech by saying that their wish was to do anything in order to destroy the house completely. And then, here we go, Shigaraki’s hair goes back to its normal state, and we finally have Shigaraki back to the ground.
This was nothing thing that we were not really sure of with Shigaraki, and I am still not sure, but I think this is gonna come to light very soon, so when he says that he and Tenko wish the same to destroy the house, obviously the place where he grew up as a child, the place where he accidentally killed all his parents.
All For One was also tied to the house as well, becasue he was the one who gave Shigaraki the Decay Quirk, this hasn’t been fully confirmed yet, but it’s pretty much what happened I mean, we saw All For One in that panel dropping off Tenko to his mother, I mean come on, it’s him. Obviously, he is tied to everything, but he still hasn’t been said out loud in the series yet, and Shigaraki defiantly hasn’t acknowledged this yet.

So that is gonna be a big moment in the series as well, even though the bad aid has already been pulled off at this point, it still would be nice for everything to just come full circle, but that being said, them saying to destroy everything that has to do with the house, I guess it’s mainly for All For One, right? Meaning that I am pretty sure that Shigaraki is going to fight All For One, at the minimum. If not, even just start up and take him out completely.
It is also possible that Shigaraki himself is a part of that as well becasue Shigaraki was born out of that, so maybe Shigaraki being destroyed in the end is also what they both want, you know, which will ultimately leave with Tenko being the only one left, which we assume is going to happen.
