CBC’s Moonshine will be coming out with Season 3 Episode 3 soon. This relatable yet way too dramatic family-themed show was first released on September 14th, 2021.
Sheri Elwood is the main director for this comedy series, and her show Moonshine takes us through the everyday lives and loves of those who are a part of the eccentric Finley-Cullen family, which consists of Lidia and all of her half-siblings.
The Finley-Cullens somehow operate a summer-themed resort that’s located on the sunny, white sand-filled South shore in Nova Scotia. Their parents, Ken and Bea Finley-Cullen, are sadly near the age of retirement, so it’s up to the siblings to try their best to become the sole owners of Moonshine, which is what the resort is named.
Since it was released in 2021, Moonshine has had two more installments. The most recent 3rd season has been airing since July 16th, 2023.
The cast of Moonshine consists of Jennifer Finnigan as Lidia, Anastasia Phillips in the role of Rhian, Emma Hunter plays Nora, and Tom Stevens plays Ryan. The role of Sammy is played by Alexander Nunez, while Farid Yezdani portrays Oscar. All of these actors portray their characters well enough to completely get you absorbed into its world of chaotic humor and drama.
Moonshine Season 3 Episode 2: Recap
In Moonshine Season 3 Episode 2, we see Lidia organizing a funeral for one of her old selves after the embarrassing time at the party last night. Wes asks Sammy to introduce him to Lidia, as he thinks she could help make Westworld a better place.
Nora comes up with a plan to make a podcast on Lidia and her sisters’ lives. Wes later finds Rhian and gives her a note, which has his number, and requests her to pass it to Lidia.
Meanwhile, Lidia is busy enjoying her birthday by having a burrito at Moonshine. Nora asks her if she’d like to be a part of something like “Ted Talk” one day, but Lidia denies it. Rhian arrives there, too, and seeing all of them tired and bored, Nora wants to take them to Loöfga, a Scandinavian spa in Chester.
Wes finds Sammy raking seaweed and asks if they could spend time together later. The women arrive at the spa, and Nora begins recording for her podcast. Lidia and Rhian are suspicious as to why Nora would suddenly want to take them out on a spa day. Sammy has burnout after taking care of the kids in Rhian’s absence.
Lidia, Nora, and Rhian have fun at the spa, and Rhian’s glad to see this new version of Lidia. Sammy is introduced to the Finley-Cullens’ rituals which were brought into existence to keep the family from fighting each other. Nora finds herself being the odd one out between her sister’s conversations.
A woman named Nancy takes asks to take a picture with Nora, only for her to reveal that she has been with Terry in the past.
Sammy and Wes arrive at the spa as well and run into Lidia. She reveals that Sammy was not just a random Moonshine worker in front of Wes, who was Moonshine’s mortal enemy from Westworld. Wes asks for Lidia’s help in redesigning Westworld.
Rhian and Lidia find out about Nora’s podcast and end up fighting over who should be the focus of the project. Nora sends the image she took with Nancy to Terry. The episode ends with Lidia celebrating her birthday alone in her room.
Moonshine Season 3 Episode 3: Release Date
The next episode of this Canadian Dramedy will be coming out on July 30th, 2023. All-new exciting episodes of Moonshine are usually aired on Sundays, and each episode has a run time of 58-60 minutes.

In the upcoming episode titled “Sunk the Junk,” we’ll be seeing the rest of the Finley-Cullens find out that Lidia had been secretly partnering up with the enemies from Westworld. Not wanting to be alienated by her own family, Lidia tries her best to get things clarified and in order before it leads to irreversible damage.

Unseen episodes of Moonshine will be available to watch on CBC, and these will be released on the platform at 9:00 pm for viewers residing in Canada. However, Audiences from the US will have to watch Moonshine’s episodes on The CW.
