Capcom has officially opened pre-orders for the Capcom Figure Builder Creator’s Model Nu Udra, bringing one of Monster Hunter Wilds’ most distinctive monsters to its premium collectible lineup.
Based on the fearsome cephalopod that dominates the Oilwell Basin ecosystem, the figure recreates Nu Udra with an emphasis on its twisting tentacles, oil-covered body, and unsettling silhouette. Scheduled for release in mid-November 2026, the collectible carries a retail price of 22,000 JPY.
Created as part of the Capcom Figure Builder Creator’s Model series, the statue showcases the monster’s signature appearance through highly detailed sculpting and carefully layered paint applications.
Capcom says the figure represents a new artistic direction for the Figure Builder lineup by faithfully reproducing the creature’s viscous oil coating and constantly shifting form. The result is a display piece designed to look dramatically different depending on the angle from which it is viewed, making it one of the more visually unique releases in the collection.
Capcom recreates Nu Udra with dynamic sculpting and realistic paintwork
According to Capcom, every tentacle has been individually sculpted with different shapes, movements, and effect parts to capture Nu Udra’s unpredictable appearance. The figure’s oil-slicked skin is finished with specialized paint that simulates the look of a thick, viscous film, closely matching the monster’s in-game design.
Nu Udra is known in Monster Hunter Wilds as the cephalopod that reigns over the Oilwell Basin ecosystem. While it is normally covered in oilsilt, the monster ignites the coating when enraged, transforming into a terrifying creature engulfed in flames. Capcom also notes that the numerous oculi spread across its body and arms are believed to function as sensory organs, although their true purpose remains under investigation within the game’s lore.
The collectible was sculpted by Tomoya Ayaki, whose work focuses on preserving the monster’s constantly changing silhouette and intricate anatomy.
