Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 145: Recap
The chapter opens up with Dooshik arriving at the store where Hyunsoo is waiting for him. Hyunsoo asks Dooshik to tell his gang to take better care of him, and Dooshik replies that he will take care of it. Dooshik then asks what happened, and Hyunsoo immediately requests some money by saying that he has a new business idea.
Dooshik says that he already gave him some money, and Hyunsoo replies that what happened last time was because of a lack of planning and it won’t happen again. He asks Dooshik to trust him one last time. Dooshik replies that the last time was the end which angers Hyunsoo. He lashes out at Dooshik and asks him if he forgot how his grandfather used to take care of him.
Dooshik calmly replies to Hyunsoo that he thought of his grandfather whenever Hyunsoo asked for money, and that’s the reason why he never refused him, but this time he does not have his business money, so he can’t give it to him.
Hyunsoo asks if Dooshik’s business is not doing well, and Dooshik agrees. He continues by saying that he also has to take care of the people who have been working for him as they consider him a brother, even though they aren’t blood-related. Hyunsoo gets angry at Dooshik and says that his grandfather should also be treated the same. Dooshik can’t take any more of Hyunsoo’s taunts and finally asks him to shut up.
Dooshik remembers the time when his grandfather gave him some money for the first time after he worked hard on the motorcycles and the words he said to him. Dooshik then tells Hyunsoo that he will give him some money, but Hyunsoo doesn’t feel satisfied with just that. Dooshik says that he’s tired, so Hyunsoo stands up and walks away.
Hyunsoo gets angry, thinking that his grandfather took in an orphan and made him a man, and now that same man is refusing to help him. Hyunsoo lashes out at people on his way out when he suddenly bumps into Ijin. He asks Ijin how old he is, but Ijin doesn’t answer, which hurts Hyunsoo’s ego, and he rushes to punch him. Dooshik’s bodyguard stops Hyunsoo from attacking and asks him to get out peacefully because he knows what would happen if he didn’t.
Dooshik meets Ijin, and they eat together. Dooshik suddenly gets a call from his sister Yurim. She apologizes to Dooshik on Hyunsoo’s behalf, but Dooshik says that it’s okay. She continues by saying how Hyunsoo is behaving weirdly these days and that she has been hearing rumors that he has borrowed money from a lot of people because he feels like someone is chasing him.
Hyunsoo checks his phone after getting out and finds the money sent by Dooshik, but he thinks that it’s too less. He then thinks if he should ask Yurim for some more money even though she refuses once when suddenly some people approach him and ask him to follow them. They take him to their Boss, who asks Hyunsoo when he’s going to pay him back. Hyunsoo gets scared and says that he was in Seoul and he’s trying his best to pay back. The Boss then asks Hyunsoo if he met Dooshik in Seoul.
