Meet The Fockers Plot
Gaylord “Greg” Focker gets engaged to Pam Byrnes and will marry her after six months. The couple decides to introduce their families to each other. Thus, Pam’s family flies to Oyster Bay, New York. Further, Pam’s father, Jack, drives the Byrnes family to Miami to the Fockers residence.
Greg’s parents are free-spirited and fun-loving. However, Jack struggles to bond with the Fockers, who have different personalities and backgrounds than him. Greg’s father, Bernie, accidentally hurts Jack while playing touch football.
A pregnant Pam informs Greg about her pregnancy, and they keep it a secret. Pam’s grandmother, Dina, and Greg’s parents learn about her pregnancy but decide not to tell Pam’s father, Jack.
Meanwhile, the Fockers’ housekeeper, Isabel Villalobos, has a fifteen-year-old son, Jorge, who surprisingly resembles Greg, which catches Jack’s attention. Greg habitually says ‘asshole’ while babysitting Pam’s one-year-old nephew, Little Jack, and the baby picks it up.
Jack argues with the Fockers about their parenting methods when he hears Little Jack uttering the bad word. Jack takes Greg and Jorge’s DNA samples and brings Jorge to Pam and Greg’s engagement. Further, he drugs Greg with the truth serum. Thus, Greg admits that he impregnated Pam and Jorge as his sons before getting unconscious.
Jack decides to take his family home, but the family members refuse, saying they know about Pam’s pregnancy the following day. However, they did not reveal it to Jack because of his trust issues. Thus, Jack leaves only with his grandson.
Jack gets back after learning that Jorge’s father is a baseball player who resembles Greg through DNA reports. Pam and Greg get married on the weekend.

The Fockers Home
The Fockers Home was supposed to be owned by a family that traveled a lot. Thus, the production Editor, Rusty Smith, hunted for one with interesting objects and a Caribbean vibe. The producers went through a lot of colors and settled on rusty red.
Built by Elias Jackson Baldwin in the 1880s at South Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, CA, the house is known as the ‘Baldwin Cottage’ or ‘Queen Anne Cottage.’ It also appeared in a TV show, ‘Fancy Island.’ According to Smith, the rooms were large enough to let them film smoothly.

The Byrnes Residence
109-141 Pound Hollow Road, built in 1942, is at Glen Head, NY 11545. Byrnes’ residence, shown at the beginning of the movie, was filmed there. The house in Meet The Parents (a 2000 American movie released) was filmed at the same residence.
