Mayans M.C Season 4 Episode 2 takes a step back from the intensity of the premiere to deliver the aftermath of the war. During the premiere of the Episode, the viewers had almost come to a conclusion that the Mayans may not survive the battle. At least not most of them. Every minute passing by saw them coming in a circle with the same situation until EZ decided to give himself up for the sake of Angel and Nail’s baby. At the very last moment, Marcus arrived, which changed everything for the Mayans.
So, here we are taking a look at what went down during the second Episode of Mayans M.C. Season 4. From the position of every Mayan to where they are in their life at the moment. Bishop was probably planning to retaliate, and Marcus was trying to bring the different factions in control. Lastly, a look at the show sowing seeds for a possible Mayans and Sons Of Anarchy war as well.
Mayans M.C. Season 4 Episode 2 Recap
Mayans M.C. Season 4 Episode 2 opens up four months after the war between Santo Padre and Yuma Mayans. Things have pretty much cooled down. The different Mayan factions have merged. The club is now headed by Marcus again, with Bishop losing his seat on the throne. Bishop is demoted to being the vice-president of the club.
Despite taking full control of the place and having the respect of the Mayans, Marcus hasn’t properly brought an end to the animosity between the factions. We see them constantly fighting at the table. It’s EZ who actually shakes hands with Manny to call for some peace in the club.
Bishop, on the other hand, shows signs of not obeying orders and is still looking forward to a chance to finish the other factions. Bishop’s men show their loyal support except for Hank and EZ, who seem to have moved on from the situation.
Amidst all of this, Angel is having the time of his life with Nails and is waiting for the baby to arrive. At the same time, he is still struggling with the loss of his child with Adelita. EZ’s father tries to connect with EZ. He leaves him a note which he later reads, and it reminds him of his days in the prison.
EZ also opts to pet a dog to leave his depressing life behind. Creeper, on his side, has been attending meetings where he talks about the horrifying aftermath of the battle. This sees him meeting a woman who really understood his feelings.
Hank seems to have been working for Marcus, who wonders if Bishop will retaliate or not. Hank didn’t really answer, but it was enough for Marcus to understand. All Hank wants is Santo Padre to back to the way it was.
The Episode came to a close with Jazmine and Jess approaching the vice president of Sons Of Anarchy, Terry. Jess, who works at Santo Padre club earlier in the Episode, found a vest of Sons Of Anarchy in a dump which she shows to him.
Earlier in the Episode, even Terry wanted to attack Mayans for crossing into Sons Of Anarchy territory, but was ignored. The jacket gives him a good reason to wage a war on them.

Mayans M.C. Season 4 Episode 2 Review
Mayans M.C Season 4 Episode 2 is far away from the brutal war we saw in the premiere. We were expecting a time jump for sure, but where was the question. While the first Episode carried all the intensity, the second is a cooled down light-hearted episode that sees the characters moving on in life.
At first, it may seem like Bishop and his gang have come into a circle with Marco as the new leader. But not, as Bishop continued to show all the signs of not wanting to obey the new president. Marcus took the note that retaliation was on its way.
Coming to the rest of the gang, with this new perspective and second chance, there might be a change of heart, and we wonder if they would stand with Bishop for revenge. Hank, on his side, only wants Mayans to go back to the way it was, nothing much, while Bishop wanted to be a king.
Lastly, if that’s not the case, one enemy might bring all the factions together. The closing moments of the episode have teased an upcoming war between Sons Of Anarchy and Mayans. So that’s something to look forward to in the coming episodes of Mayans M.C. Season 4.
