Eight weeks ago, five couples from The Lifetime show, Married At First Sight met each other for the first time and tied the knot almost immediately. Now, with the season at its end, the couples have to face the ultimate question, Will they stay married or Divorce and Part ways?
Married at First sight’s US adaptation was first seen on television on July 2014. The concept is taken from a Danish series of the same name. Its popularity led to many countries launching their versions. The US version alone had around eight spin-offs, showing just how much people love this show.
The 15th season of the franchise premiered on 6th July 2022. With singles from California’s Hot weather city San Diego, the experts had to be careful in making the couples that wouldn’t be a hot mess. With their hearts on the line, these people were ready to try their luck in finding the love of their lives on the show.
Married At First Sight (US) Season 15: A Look At The West Coast Couples
This season features five couples with professions ranging from Engineers, Doctors, Accountants, and much more. It also has older couples this time, meaning more maturity. The drawback is that couples won’t be as malleable as the experts would want them to be. Knowing that, let’s have a summary of this season’s couples:
- Stacia Karcher & Nate Barnes
- Alexis Mitchell & Justin Hall
- Lindy Elloway & Miguel Santiago
- Morgan Bell & Binh Trinh
- Krysten Collins & Mitch Silverstiein
Season 15 has so far witnessed the couples celebrating their honeymoons in Mexico, Moving in together, having housewarming parties with their families, and so much more. Some of the couples seem to be looking forward to being with each other, while some are just waiting for Decision day.
The couples were also given a chance to speak to experts such as Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Robertson. They also got to meet Dr. Pia Holec, a couple’s therapy advisor. The pairs this season mostly don’t seem to be getting along with each other, but their choice on the Decision Day is what would decide their fate.
Married At First Sight (US) Season 15 Episode 16: Recap
The last episode was aired on October 19th, 2022. It was a chance for couples to talk to each other and sort out their decisions before the Big day. They also have conversations with their close family regarding the next step.
Stacia expresses her feelings of confusion and concern about her relationship with Nate. Though she feels they are similar and get along, the possibility of him leaving her in the future seems high, and Nate feels the same. Nate might just end up homeless if this relationship ends, and that scares him too. His father lets him know that he’s old enough to get settled and should try to make the marriage last.
Lindy talks to her sister about Miguel’s lack of communication. Their relationship dynamic wasn’t the best either, with Lindy having less attention span which constantly ticks off Miguel.
Krysten and her friend hang out at a cafe, where she talks about finally being calm and happy with Mitch. Mitch, on the other hand, feels they have a good partnership and understanding but not love and that Krysten’s expectations are too much for him.
The couples then go out on a final dinner to try and shift each other’s perspectives over where their marriage is headed. Mitch & Krysten shift towards a yes, but the others seem mostly confused about their decision.
