After the chapter with JYP was over, GOT7 released a single titled “Encore,” in which Mark had been credited as an executive producer.

From being an ordinary high school kid who didn’t know what he wanted to do when he grew up, Mark Tuan became one of the golden names in the South Korean as well as the global music industry. He is considered one of the popular personalities in the industry and is well established for his multi-talents in the arena of K-Pop. It is never a surprise when the entire internet goes wild whenever the artist drops something.
Being someone who never thought of becoming a global idol, Mark’s stars definitely played their own spell and led him to the platform where he began to chase his newfound dreams. In the year 2010, Mark was taken under JYP Entertainment by the company’s employee from his hometown, i.e., Los Angeles, California. At first, he didn’t have any strong motivation to go for the offer, but when his friends urged him to go forward with the same, he ended up getting enrolled for the auditions.
His hard work and incredible skills helped him in clearing the auditions, and he entered the bustling realm of K-Pop. Chasing his new dreams, he dropped out of school and shifted to South Korea.
After his successful admission to JYP Entertainment, he received incredible experience in vocal training, choreography, and rap. He pushed himself a bit more every day and broadened the realms of his artistry by mastering acrobatics and martial arts. Mark did everything to build up a base that would lead him to a successful and bright future.
All of his day and night hard work paid off when alongside his band members Jinyoung, JAY B, Bambam, Jackson Wang, Youngjae, and Yugyeom, made their group debut with the first EP titled “Got It” on January 16, 2014. It won’t be wrong to say that since their debut, Mark played a very crucial role in setting up a good base for the group. It is not a surprise that he holds songwriter credits for 20 GOT7 tracks and eight as a co-composer.

Solo Ventures
His first collaborative single, “One In A Million,” was released on February 12, 2021. It marked his first collaboration as a solo artist with Sanjoy, a Bangladeshi-American producer.
Signing an exclusive contract with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Mark continued bagging media headlines and spotlight with his every single release. His feature on 88rising’s OST for Marvel film, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” got him huge global attention. Also, his participation in the ninth track, “Never Gonna Come Down,” alongside BiBi bagged him exposure to a wider base audience.
Throughout the years, he has continued releasing music, and it is absolutely right to say that he has put his heart and soul into each of them.
