They intend to hurt her, tie her up, and hang her in a tree to be devoured by monsters in the arena. When they attempt to catch her off-guard, they are hit by an unexpected sniper attack from Ataru. They try to capture the beastman kid but end up surrounded by monsters.

Meanwhile, the beast-man kid cares for the monsters she is fighting and feels stronger with each victory. She credits Ataru for healing her after she lost to Death wolf and for giving her the courage to fight without holding back.

A mysterious elf woman appears near Ataru and reveals she is from the guild command. She informs Ataru that his kill numbers are far beyond what an A-rank adventurer should have. They sense something unusual happening in the forest and realize that the number of monsters is rapidly increasing. The elf woman senses the danger posed if the monsters reach nearby cities and agree to leave the safety of the adventurers in the forest to Ataru and save the city. Many adventurers in the forest are getting injured and start to panic.

Even the top-ranked adventurers in the forest start to be overrun by the sheer number of monsters. To boost morale, the adventurers are soon supported by the retired guild master, The Bow Saint and Frost Queen, who uses her powerful attacks to kill every monster in the surrounding area. The Frost Queen senses a demonic aura interfering with her ice field and realizes that a giant demon, which attracts smaller monsters, is responsible. In the other part of the forest, a monkey monster attacks Caro, and Ataru saves her. He orders her to stop fighting, and she reluctantly accepts.

The Frost Queen suggests a plan to take down the demon, and three other adventurers named Basta, Milo, and Wilina offer their support. The Frost Queen heavily injures the giant demon with her spells while Ataru uses his special elemental bullet attacks to inflict further damage.

The giant demon starts to regenerate rapidly from its injuries. The Basta uses his sword to attack and pierces through the demon’s skin but cannot give a fatal blow. The beast demon starts to use its demon energy to curse the whole city of Libre, causing everyone to lose their morale and confidence. Ataru uses his skills to heal and restore the Frost Queen’s mana, allowing her to cast her frozen prison cage spell and hold the giant demon at one point. He picks up his gun and goes to finish the demon once and for all, accepting that he has been underestimating the giant so far.
