Love Syndrome: Story
Love Syndrome is the story of the relationship between Day and ITT. It is not a normal relationship but riddled with mistrust, jealousy, and beyond toxic.
Day and ITT work at ITT’s father’s automobile store. ITT acts selfishly with Day, always craving his attention and pampering. He acts childishly to look cute and is very dependent on Day, who actively spoils him, in line with his desires- ‘To get him (ITT) used to having me (Day) take care of him.’
Though, ITT’s clingy and bratty behavior does tend to get on Day’s nerves, who gets tensed and worked up because of this, arguments indicating trouble in paradise.
ITT acts snobbishly, speaks rudely to Day over a cake, and later gets jealous seeing someone flirting with Day. A gang of robbers breaks into the salon that Day owns, after which Day finds those people at a bar, a sequence of violent actions ensuing that show DAY’S aggressive nature. ITT further intensifies it by adding that Day can kill someone.
The day gets into an accident while driving back to ITT, worried about him after they fought over a call again. However, he ends up in a fatal accident, and his injuries are very bad.
ITT is tensed and feels relieved only when Day regains consciousness, but to his horror, Day has gotten amnesia, not remembering anything related to ITT or their relationship of 3 years. Hurt and dejected, ITT still takes it upon himself to nurse Day and look after his needs, even though Day acts rudely to ITT, who is now a stranger to him.
Their friends and family come to visit Day, all speaking about the relationship Day shared with ITT, how obsessed he was over his partner, irritating and baffling Day to no extent. Later, a new character named Ball enters the scene, letting us see Day’s jealousy as he gets possessive over ITT following his subconscious feelings.
The couple is almost always bickering about something, yet despite that, they still go on to show their care for each other through their actions though they pretend otherwise.
