The chapter starts with Erzen arriving at the palace as a merchant. Eva tells Arnee that Duke Erzen has the title of viscount in the western empire. Arnee remembers that Erzen received that tile after the end of the eastern kingdom alliance war, and the knight told her Erzen would not come to the northern empire due to some misfortune incident.

Later, Erzen presented Arnee with luxurious tea sets, and he told her it was made by a famous craftsman in the Western Empire. Eva liked the tea set and asked Arnee to buy it as a gift for the grand duke. Arnee did not want to buy anything, as her subordinate suddenly showed up after switching jobs to a merchant.
