Let’s Meet After Work: Chapter 6 Recap

In the previous chapter of Let’s Meet After Work, Chaewon meets Seongjun for the position she is applying for and during their conversation, Seongjun harshly tells her that of course he doesn’t trust her. After how Chaewon broke his heart, Seongjun asks her how could he possibly trust her again.

Later, Seongjun is regretting and questioning his decision on hiring Chaewon and wonders if he has opened a can of worms. Seongjun’s secretary comes in to inform him about his upcoming meeting and tells him that Chaewon Jeong has accepted the offer and signed the contract.

The news greatly startles Seongjun since he did not accept Chaewon to accept the offer after what he had said to her. When the secretary sees Seongjun’s reaction, he tells him that he didn’t find anything wrong with her CV although he cannot vouch for her performance since she was recommended for the job by a friend.

The secretary asks Seongjun if he should nullify the contract but Seongjun believes in Chaewon’s skills and tells his secretary to hire her if she has already signed the contract. In a comedic monologue, Seongjun says that he will take this opportunity to show how chill and professional he is.

After watching Seogjun mumble to himself, the secretary leaves while Seogjun thinks about showing off his cool nature to Chaewon. On the other hand, Chaewon looks exhausted and thinks that she will be working at Seongjun’s company from tomorrow.
