Fox’s funny reality competition series LEGO Masters is a very entertaining program that pushes the competitors’ creativity to the limit. Based on the original British series, the program debuted in early 2020 and involves using large Lego blocks to create creative yet functional crafts.
The competitors are given a simple task: they have to build two Lego structures within the limitations of the subject of each episode, and they have to finish it in a set amount of time. Will Arnett, the executive producer and host, does a great job of energizing every episode.
Jamie Berard and Amy Corbett, two Lego Group creative designers who are also serving as the show’s judges, join him. Furthermore, Lego Masters ensures that well-known celebrities are invited to participate as judges in a few of the show’s episodes.
The two-person teams submit their finished Lego creations to the host and judges, who, after careful consideration, decide which two teams placed last and which team won. Participants and onlookers who are unaware of the Lego block craze may find the show’s concept absurd, yet it is a serious business.
The new additions from the LEGO Masters makers include a Lego Masters trophy that goes to the winner, a $100,000 grand reward with the winning title, and a Golden Brick immunity ticket.
The final episode of the show’s fourth season will air soon, marking the conclusion of the run. Lego Masters fans shouldn’t worry too much, though, as the fifth season has already been given the go-ahead for a future release.
Recap
The daring couples set out on a mission to create the best-motorised party boat that best embodies their unique personalities. Cat castles must be built by the builders. With a focus on volcanoes, participants have twelve hours to create potentially explosive environments.
The builders must choose a sound effect from a list and construct a LEGO representation of their interpretation of the sound. The pairings were divided into two sizable groups to produce four outstanding acts for an amazing show. The winner of Season 3 of “LEGO Masters,” Stacey Roy, is required to assume the role of investigator and ascertain which of the items the builders removed from a detective’s office are authentic.
Additionally, the builders were given an object of their choice to replicate into a one-to-one scale model. Through a photo session, teams must design luxurious, runway-worthy bags that are both functional and attractive; the bags that turn heads get a coveted magazine cover, while the fashion fails to run the risk of being eliminated.
Teams construct brick-built off-road remote-controlled vehicles for the ultimate competition. The last four partners need to use their creative juices to design a roller coaster with a mechanical lift, a plunge, and extreme caution. The teams have twelve hours to create a coaster with a concept that is both technically sound and aesthetically pleasing.
In the end, there will only be three teams remaining. Will Arnett ranks the best 100 episodes from all four seasons of “LEGO Masters.” The three remaining teams compete to become the LEGO Masters by completing an enormous project with technical, artistic, and narrative components in 24 hours.
The group that pushes the limits of their creativity and knowledge to construct an incredible edifice will be rewarded with a $100,000 cash prize, the ultimate LEGO trophy, and the esteemed title of LEGO Masters. For the first time in the show’s history, the winner’s build will also be made into a set and displayed at a LEGO flagship store.
