The chapter starts with Kei stepping into the area where everyone was attacked, and he sees a man with a mask. The masked man turns to Kei while the injured man below yells for him to run away. The masked man says how he should have not interrupted him and attacks Kei.
But using his dragon’s eye Kei is untouched by the attack and he realizes that the masked man is behind all this. He equips his rugged longsword weapon and comments on how easy this would be. Considering the masked man’s actions Kei understands the situations and figures out that he is a serial pker.
Serial Pker also known as the Red Players were the players who kill other players off. Since dream side only provides three lives, these people are considered evil, cancerous according to the developer. The people lying dead around him were not killed by the mob but rather the masked man.
The masked man says that he would leave Kei alone if he left and this is when the injured person told him that the masked man was Hwang Dongsoo, a serial killer. Dongsoo tries to kill Kei but with his dragon’s eye he finds out.
Kei calls out the attack of mixing ignition and gas together while he is still shocked on how he found out. He kills them all while gaining items like the rugged top and birch staff. He finally reaches to Dongsoo and kills him off. This makes him leveled up and it seems like the system already acknowledged these men as mobs already. He also obtains the item dungeon grass.
The injured man introduces himself as Oh Daesoo, a cop. He further tells Kei that Hwang Dongsoo was the one who killed his sister and thanks Kei for helping him out. He also asks for a favor from him to help find his teammates as he split up with them when they were ambushed by Dongsoo.
Daesoo tells Kei how there were ten of his teammates and that even the prisoners have become players. Daesoo says how they were not attacked by some monster so it is clear that they must have some sort of item as well.
The chapter comes to a shocking end with Kei getting to know that Choi Hana is the marksman.
