She believes that if she says that it didn’t hurt her in any sense, this will be a lie, but the thought of making herself worthy of Tadano Kun was enough to make her forget the hardship of her life and the pain that resides in it.

Later in her story, we find out that she had done a lot of work on herself with time and effort in order to find a place among her uncle’s family, and she somehow succeeds in this. Not only that, but even in school, she was surrounded by friends, this was all because of Tadano Kun, and for as long as she could remember, Rami says that she is pushing her so that one day, she could be with Tadano Kun, this as so much that she didn’t have time to spare for other people.
This was until now because after seeing Tadano with Komi San, she has lost that goal. Now she believes that everything she has worked for was for nothing, but waste, and there is nothing left for her, and she is all alone in her life.
Later in the chapter, we see Kishi is here to pick up Rami, and thanks Tadano and Komi to find her. She says to Rami that she was worried for her, although she said her to go first, Rami’s family had called her and said that she is still not home and were asking about her, which is why she was looking for her.
After hearing all this, Rami responds and apologies to her, she says that she was supposed to be their respected student council president, a model for them to follow, and yet she has lost, and now she doesn’t deserve any of the expectations they have for her.
Kishi says that she was not supposed to say sorry for worrying them, besides we were all talking about the event in the last quiz, and how come she didn’t remember it, how come she can’t answer a question that involves them, she asks her that is it because she actually doesn’t care about them.
Kawai reveals that she is right, she never paid attention to any of them, and she can’t even remember their names, which is the reason why she is all alone. This was okay for Kishi and all of her friends, she says that they always knew that she is a big airhead, this was because when they were talking about the rumors of who is going out with who, she suddenly started talking about raccoons.
She also says that she is beautiful and smart, and responsible, of course, and that al really looked up to her, she is willing to do anything to reach her goal, but she never resorts to cheating, she always forges ahead with her head held high.
