Lucina will be working on research given to her by Adar; it will help the delivery of Dragon Child safely. Hakkan will be worried about the measure that Lucina is willing to take in this by calling Gillai. Though, the biggest hurdle would be Garrett in Kidnapped Bride Chapter 54 who doesn’t want the research to be completed at any cost.
Garrett had taken on the role of Rashta but much worse due to her indifference. Moreover, the romance series has shown over and over again that Garrett will use every underhanded tactic to separate the two leads. The villainess of this story has eyes Hakkan with a keen interest for a while now.
Moreover, we saw Brion being brought up in the recent chapter, indicating that he will have an important role to play in the future. The guy was one of the first characters to show up and also the one that Lucina would have ended up with. However, thanks to Hakkan, that didn’t come to pass and Lucina got a new life with new people.

Kidnapped Bride Chapter 54 will show us how Garrett will react to the news of Gillai being brought back to the palace. Moreovere, the antagonist of the series will be distraught when she learns that Luciana is doing her research. The research of none other than the safe delivery of the dragon child would help future generations.
It would foil the plans of Garrett to get Hakkan all for herself and become the empress of the place. Garrett’s motives are mostly tied to power, and for that, she is willing to do anything to anyone who gets in her way. Of course, Hakkan is exempted from this as he is the one who would grant her that power.
However, the more and more time passes, the firmer the grasp of Luciana becomes over Hakkan and his people. Sure, there are quite a few people on Garrett’s side, but her (popularity) influence is dropping little by little. While Luciana is gaining influence over the people thanks to the support she has been getting from the people around her.
Recap
Kidnapped Bride Chapter 53 had Luciana talking to a fairy over the events of the recent chapters. Luciana was so confused by all the things that kept happening in these past few chapters that she wasn’t able to keep up with all that was going on. The fantasy series then gives us a little exposition as to why things were that way.
There are beings called Shifters that could change into the shape of any human they have since at one glance. However, this shifter in question made a mistake as it copied the image of Luciana when she had killed her hair. This was when Luciana was still presenting herself to Brion, who preferred blonde hair.
This little incident ended up helping the female lead in a way and providing an alibi that would help her influence in the future. However, for the time being, Luciana can’t talk about anything related to anyone around her, not even Hakkan. However, the female lead will not have to worry about that as she will be busy with research given to her by Adar.
