Valerie Armstrong created the dark comedy television show Kevin Can F**k Himself and serves as its executive producer. On June 13, 2021, AMC+ published the first two episodes, and on June 20, 2021, AMC premiered the show. In August 2021, the program received a second season renewal.
In November 2021, AMC announced that the show will end after two seasons. On August 22, 2022, the second and last season will premiere on AMC and AMC+. The Worcester, Massachusetts-based drama focuses on Allison McRoberts (played by Annie Murphy), a lady trying to reevaluate her life while married to Kevin, a clumsy, unambitious man-child.
However, when Allison is by herself, the program depicts her from the perspective of a woman trying to navigate a difficult personal path, which is more typical of television dramas. When Allison is with her husband, Kevin, the program depicts her from the perspective of the stereotypical sitcom wife, complete with canned laughter.

The formats will continually inform one another as we investigate what happens when this supporting character is portrayed as a genuine person, alternating between single-camera realism and multi-camera zaniness. What if that individual is enraged?
