In the 1990s, there were fewer and fewer horror films produced in India. The main reason was that they were no longer as profitable as they had been in prior years, but director Ram Gopal Varma was never one to go along with the crowd. In this article, you will learn about the ending of his film Kaun.
RGV, who is frequently identified by just his initials, had a huge impact on the development of contemporary Indian horror. His film Raat, one of the most well-liked horror flicks of the 1990s, was created.
RGV has made an effort to preserve the spirit of the genre throughout the decade with his other movies, including Govinda Govinda and Deyyam. Early in 1999, viewers feasted their eyes on an RGV film that would go on to become a cult favorite.
The cast of the movie includes Ma’am, an unnamed woman played by Urmila Matondkar.
Sushant Singh plays a robber who is initially introduced as Inspector Qureshi’s bogus name in Manoj Bajpayee‘s performance as Sameer A. Purnavale.

Kaun Movie Ending Explained
A young woman who is afraid calls her parents on a night and asks them when they will return home. The doorbell rings as she is watching the news about a serial killer on the loose. The individual standing outside introduces himself as Sameer Purnavale and claims to be Mr Malhotra, the property owner’s business partner.
Due to the rumor that a killer is on the loose, the woman is hesitant to open the door. She claims that Mr Gupta, not Mr Malhotra, is the rightful owner of the residence. Even when the woman tells him that she won’t let him in, Sameer keeps ringing the doorbell because he thinks there has been a misunderstanding.
The woman makes up the fact that her husband is upstairs asleep to frighten him off. Sameer claims to have seen a man inside the residence and asks to speak with him. The woman is startled and flees outside after hearing this and a second disturbance coming from within the house.
The woman is then led back inside by Sameer, who assures her that he will look out for her. The woman rushes to the kitchen to hunt for candles after a sudden power outage but instead discovers her dead pet cat.
She scrambles to the door in terror and opens it to discover another man standing there brandishing a gun. To get assistance, the man calls the police station and introduces himself as Inspector Qureshi.
Qureshi is being watched closely by Sameer and the woman, which leads to a brawl between the two men. The woman grabs Qureshi’s gun during the scuffle, prompting him to admit that he is a thief rather than a police officer. The woman calls her mother and requests that she call the police.
In a subsequent fight, Sameer seriously hurts Qureshi because he believes the latter to be the serial killer. He pulls up the phone to try to call the police, but it doesn’t seem to be working. He instructs the woman to find a safe place within the house to hide while he attempts to fix the phone because he is perplexed.
When the doorbell calls, Sameer answers it. She initially argued that the residence belonged to Mr Gupta, but now he runs out to her and says that a man has come looking for Mr Malhotra. Confused, he looks for her in the attic and discovers a dead body that he recognizes as Mr. Malhotra.
The woman reveals herself to be the serial murderer the following day as she starts to remove the victims, clean up the house, rearrange the furniture, and “talk” to her mother on the disconnected phone. When the doorbell rings, another man answers it and requests Mr. Malhotra. The woman then makes a U-turn and smiles wickedly at the spectators.
The movie contains a lot of enigmatic elements that have not yet been fully explained. For instance, the film’s suspense is increased even more by the fact that the cat’s killer is never revealed. Furthermore, it was never made clear how the woman was killing so many people at a mysterious home that belonged to Mr Malhotra.
