Case in point, the upcoming series Justified: City Primeval, a new western miniseries that aims to pick things up from Justified and give it a spin on the small screens.

Justified: City Primeval Preview
Justified: City Primeval is a neo-Western that Michael Dinner and Dave Andron based upon a book by Elmore Leonard called City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit. The story is one of violence and revenge, where a man named Raylan Givens leaves Kentucky for sunny Miami trying to make ends meet as he puts food on the table for his daughter.
But things change for Raylan when instead of sunny Miami, Florida he finds himself in Motor City Detroit, chasing a criminal named Clement Mansell, who’s also known as “The Oklahoma Wildman”, what ensues is a violent cat-and-mouse game that will surely give you the chills, there’ll be violence, there’ll be intrigue.

Timothy Olyphant plays Raylan Givens the lead character and US Marshall. Boyd Holbrook plays the Oklahoma Wildman Clement Mansell, the main antagonist. Joining them in the cast have Adelaide Clemens plays Sandy Givens, Vondie Curtis Hall plays Sweety, Marin Ireland plays Maureen, Norbert Leo Butz plays Norbert, Vivian Olyphant plays Willa Givens, Ravi Patel plays Rick Newley, and Aunjanue Ellis plays Carolyn Wilder.
