Joo Won and Kwon Nara from the upcoming ENA drama “The Midnight Studio” recently graced a captivating photoshoot with Allure Korea, offering insights into the series and their personal experiences.
“The Midnight Studio” unfolds a thrilling and mysterious narrative, revolving around Seo Ki Joo (Joo Won), a photo studio owner serving the deceased, and Han Bom (Kwon Nara), a passionate lawyer navigating the realms of life and death.
In the interview that followed the photoshoot, the actors shared their thoughts on various aspects of “The Midnight Studio” and their personal stories. Joo Won described the on-set atmosphere as heartwarming, expressing his appreciation for the drama’s blend of comedy, cuteness, and sadness. Reflecting on his character Seo Ki Joo, a photographer bound by a family contract to capture images of the deceased, Joo Won revealed the impact of portraying a character cursed to live only until age 35. Discussing his decision to enrol in graduate school, Joo Won revealed a dream of becoming a professor, expressing a desire to share his experiences with others. Having majored in theatre and film in high school and university, he highlighted his passion for the field.
Kwon Nara’s interview started with a playful reference to the phonetic similarity between “The Midnight Studio” and “Sexy/Naughty Studio” in Korean. Amused by people’s reactions, she clarified the drama’s concept as a photo studio open only at night.
