We will see how the relationship between the abuser and the abused will progress in the coming chapters, as usual. The premise of the story, just like many Yaoi manhwas these days, is about conquering the unconquerable. But this time, the one who needs to be destroyed is too far off reach, which makes things interesting in some ways.
Though the knowledge of conquering remains known only to the readers, the characters do not know it. If anything, Kim Dan is far from being the type that could manipulate others or lessen the distance between them. He is the passive type, the one who reacts to the situation and does whatever he can to survive.
Kim Dan’s way of life or his MO for surviving started to crumble the moment he joined a certain MMA gym. His task was to take care of the fighter who was rumored to be the most aggressive.
At first, Kim thought he wouldn’t survive the job and would have to run away from it despite his need for money.
Looking back at how this story started, no one can imagine it would have this many twists and turns. The one being twisted and turned was Kim Dan, while the one doing the twisting and turning was Jaekyung.
However, that was somewhat within consideration, just not to the extent that would make people pity Kim Dan for his circumstances.
Jinx Chapter 41: The story so far
The events before Jinx Chapter 41 are… convoluted. Or, it would be apt to say they are gut-wrenching. Most chapters focused on the build-up to the next event, and those events, most of the time, were Kim’s Misery. Kim is hit by the loan sharks, taken advantage of by Jaekyung, having given his dignity, etc.
However, the story wouldn’t have been enticing to watch for the readers if this had remained the case throughout.
The one thing that changes throughout the chapters is the development of romance between the characters. However, that, too, is in unequal distribution as the one falling is not Jaekyung but the Gullible one, Kim Dan.
There are signs for both of them to fall for each other throughout forty chapters, but it seems Kim is the first to find out.
However, before the leak of Jaekyung’s injury, there was this strong hint that he was starting to realize what was happening inside his heart. Alas, that never came to pass, and we saw the MMA fighter become a rampaging bull.
Jaekyung devolved and showed a side to everyone where he tried to be too aggressive to hide his weakness. In that phase, he was the most ruthless to Kim Dan, who had decided to endure all hardships.
But, the hardships came for none other than Jaekyung, who was afraid of leaving his wound open for the world to see.
What to expect in Jinx Chapter 41?
Jinx Chapter 41 will show us how Kim Dan will deal with the acknowledgment of Jaekyung’s presence in his life. It is a bit anti-climatic, but this also makes the future unpredictable for the duo.
The main gripe of the series, since the very beginning, has been its unpredictability of how things will unfold.
Speaking of unpredictable outcomes, there is a way to know how some things will unfold. It was just a chapter ago when Kim Dan lost himself in a trance and found himself at the mercy of Jaekyung.
However, it was due to the drug that he took by mistake, ravaging his mind and making him hyperactive, which helped Jaekyung, too.
Now, we will see what Jaekyung will think about the things that he did with drugged Kim Dan and the words he said during it.
It won’t be out of bounds for the MMA fighter to use that knowledge to his advantage. He will bring those facts for sure, but it is also likely that those very things will give him something to think about.
