We will see Kim Dan making the move for the first time in the series, to everyone’s surprise. And it will be the night before the important match, the match that will have great significance to Jakeyung’s life. And it will be the Jaekyung that will be pondering the action of the bottom in Jinx Chapter 39.
The Yaoi manhwa had been all about Kim Dan and him being a damsel in distress from the very first chapter. From the very first chapter, it was made clear that Kim Dan goes with the flow, hesitant to decide for himself. But this has changed throughout the story as Kim Dan has developed and takes a stance for himself.
However, the last chapter was about losing all sense of reason and going to Jaekyung as a last resort. He had drunk the shake meant for the MMA fighter and as a meant to impede him in the upcoming match. But through the flick of fate, Dan ended up being the one to take charge and give Jaekyung a bit of a surprise.
While Jaekyung had been in many situations where he had been surprised by Kim Dan, this time will be different. During all those times, Kim Dan was the reacting party, pushing Jaekyung again when he pushed too far. While that did make Jaekyung respect Kim Dan, what will he feel now that Kim is taking charge?
Story So Far
Jinx Chapter 39 will have Kim Dan feeling the heat from the drink and passing out. The other two members did their best to look after him and took him to his bed, making sure he got some comfort. The three started to talk about what it was that caused him to be like.
None of them were able to come up with an answer that could pinpoint why Kim Dan had gotten a fever all of a sudden. One of the characters was able to come closer to the truth, but the day’s exertion caught up to him. Kim could tell that they wouldn’t be able to last long the next day if they stayed up.
The doctor advised the two to hit the bed and recharge for the coming day, something that his fellow roommates agreed to. The Two MMA fighters had been training with Jaekyung non-stop without any proper rest during the day, and they needed to sleep for tomorrow. However, Doc is left with something he had never felt: the need to feel good while being high in temperature.
What to expect?
Jinx Chapter 39 will be a reversal of the situation in which Kim Dan will be the one that would be pursuing. All up till this point, Kim had been the one to be pursued (used) by Jaekyung. Jaekyung has some mixed feelings regarding Kim, but he doesn’t give them much thought and focuses on the recreational aspects of their relationship.
However, the recent blow at him for his injured shoulder had been eating him up from inside. He doesn’t know who sold his secret out, but he doesn’t like it one bit that his weakness is exposed to the world like that. Ever since the news of his injury surfaced, he had been training hard to prove he was not weak.
In the moments of Jaekyung’s frustration, the series dropped all semblance of romance, and the relationship between the two leads became toxic. Jaekyung is the toxic one, and Kim Dan is enabled due to his empathy for the man. However, Jaekyung will be feeling a new type of sensation as he is asked to give for the first time in the series. All his exchanges with Kim Dan had been out of his violations up until now.
However, Kim Dan will be wrapping himself around Jaekyung just to get his craving satisfied and not think of the consequences in the least. Something that used to be Jaekyung’s trait, and the MMA fighter might finally learn what it is like to impose on others.
