In the previous chapter, Yuuya ended up having a nightmare and seeing Kaede sleeping next to him so peacefully and close made him nervous. Due to that, he could not go to bed that night, and he got a heavy head when he did not sleep. To clear out his mind, he decides to have a hot bath, to freshen up.
He spots the 4k tv and chooses to play it but then reconsiders when he thinks Kaede might see him playing it alone. He believes that if his live-in partner did fun things on their own, excluding him, he would also feel lonely, so that Kaede might feel the same. He feels terrible for entertaining such a thought and decides he can’t play it when she isn’t around him.
He notices that there is no fridge in the house and worries about what they will do about breakfast. Miyamoto San comes out of nowhere to greet him, and he is surprised by his sudden appearance. Then he notices that Miyamoto San is carrying a bag from a familiar hamburger chain.
Miyamoto San tells him that he brought breakfast for them, but Yuuya contemplates why he brought hamburgers for breakfast because they are not light in the stomach during the morning. Miyamoto San tells him it is a direct request from Kaede, and she contacted him regarding that last night. He then figures out that Kaede has a habit of overeating junk food.
It’s not like he hates it, either. But they had pizza for dinner, and now hamburgers for breakfast seemed a lot to him. Kaede even assured him she would cook for him tomorrow, so he felt a bit uneasy about the whole situation. Miyamoto San ensures that Kaede’s dishes are very peculiar, but he can guarantee the taste, so he should not worry much and tells him to eat the hamburgers before they get cold.
