I Hated It Even More Manhwa has just launched its first chapter on May 21. The Manhwa is an adaptation of its novel, which has been completed. The story revolves around three characters, Anita, Arabella, and Axion. Arabella is Anita’s elder sister, who had gone missing for 19 years. Due to Arabella going missing, their parents had no choice but to give birth to a second child, Anita.

But things weren’t good for Anita, as everyone only thought about Arabella and no one cared about her. Except for one person with whom she was engaged, Axion. Anita liked him more than anything in the world. However, after 19 years, Arabella returned home.

I Hated It Even More Chapter 1 Recap

The chapter starts with a narration. Marquis Renarty’s daughter had gone missing. Everyone thought they would find her soon, but they could not find Arabella Renarty. Rumour started spreading in the country that Marquis and Marchioness were looking for their lost daughter. People took advantage of the situation, countless fake “Arabellas” went to visit the couple, and they would repeatedly break down in disappointment.

The story starts with Anita (Marquis’s second daughter) asking her mother if she wants to eat with her. Anita’s mother told her that she grew up fine with all those beautiful things around her, but she wondered how their Arrabella was living out. She told Anita to get out. However, Anita touched her and called her mother, but she shouted at her saying to get out. While she had gotten out of her room, she heard her mother saying that the things she could enjoy should have been Arabella’s.

After losing Arabella, the family could not afford to break off the family line, and a second child was inevitably born. They thought that loving the daughter they had no choice but to give birth to was a great betrayal to Arabella. Everyone only thought about Arabella and not Anita. But there was one person who looked only at Anita, Axion. Axion would be the heir to the grand Duchy of Racheide. He was Anita’s fiancé and sole friend.

Anita’s parents would not pay her attention because of the commotion around the fake “Arabellas.” Axion would invite Anita over to the tracheids. She liked hanging out with Axion. However, after being for 19 years, Arabella returned to her home. Everyone started treating Arabella as a queen; they gave all the best things to Arabella. There were things that never had been given to Anita from the start. But also there were things which were taken from Anita.

Arabella’s mother told her husband to break Anita’s engagement to the grand duke. She told him that if their Arabella had not gone missing, she would’ve been the grand duke’s fiancée. Anita overheard all their discussion. Later we see Anita lost in her thought while being with Axion. While they were talking with each other, someone knocked on the door.

So Anita went to check who was at the door. When she opened the door, she saw her mother with Arabella. Her mother told Anita to introduce Arabella to the duke. Anita thought they could take everything from her since it never belonged to her. But no matter what happens, Anion is someone who she will never let the takeaway.
