If you are a fan of poetical romance drama with dialogues that feel like they are straight out of a poetry book, then you must be familiar with Turkish romance stories, and if you have not, then you absolutely should catch their ongoing romance drama called, Vermem Seni Ellere.
The show is a collaborative effort of Ali Balci and Isilsu Gunday and follows the story of a girl who has grown up being surrounded by nature’s beauty and a city guy who is up for all sorts of adventures in the natural world.
Fate will bring the two together, and we will see how their story goes. The series has actress Buse Meral has been cast for the role of Zelish, our female lead, which the makers of the show have described as ‘the daughter of mountains, streams, and plateaus,’ and actor Emre Bey for the role of Mehmet, the male lead with a passion and love for ‘adventures and action.’
For its supporting cast, the makers of the show have cast actor Fatih Al as Sakir, Filiz Ahmet as Peri, Cihat Tamer as Idris, Bulent Alkis as Akif, Goncagul Sunar as Emine, and other talented actors contributing to the show. Most Turkish shows, especially the ones that are put under the romance genre, tend to get a lot of appreciation for the screenplay and the dialogues, which seem to hold so much depth. The burning chemistry between the actors is also something to look out for.
For these reasons, fans have high hopes and expectations from this series as well.
Vermem Seni Ellere: The Plot
The show opens with Mehmet being forced into marriage, and when he sees no way out, he does what every sane person would do in such a situation. He runs away. Zelish also finds herself stuck with the village she grew up in, and eventually, the two find their way to each other. We mean this literally as the two bump and fall, one on top of the other.
Mehmet, who has just grabbed hold of his freedom, and Zelish, who finds herself taking responsibility for her village, are now stuck with each other, with Mehmet held as hostage by the latter. Apparently, Mehmet having run from the wedding turned out to be a huge problem for the village, and Zelish seems to have taken it upon herself to make sure that the former pays up.
She refuses to let him go and confesses that she will make him regret being born and causing chaos for other people. With nowhere to go, Mehmet accepts his fate, and the two stay with each other, at least till Mehmet finds a way out of Zelish’s hold.
