Pretzel and the puppies is finally coming back with a Season 2! After much request and demand from the kids for a comeback of this fun and sweet show, our favorite Dachshunds are back in town to bring us joy and entertainment!
The first season of Pretzel and the puppies premiered on 11th February 2022 and ended with 9 episodes. Since its release, kids have been enjoying this show with their family and friends. The light laughs followed by educational teachings has also been recommended by many parents for their children.
The show is an animated series which is adapted by a 1946 picture book written by H.A. Rey and Margaret titled ‘Pretzel’, who also created the ever-popular Curious George series. It follows the story of a canine family living in Muttgomery (word play on Montgomery, a city in Alabama, in case you failed to catch that!) , who tackle and deal with different activities each day, which by the end, give them something to learn from.

Synopsis
Pretzel, our main character is a father to five, who remains at home to watch for Poppy, Pedro, Puck, Pippa, and Paxton, our lively and energetic puppies. Greta, his wife, puts a lot of effort into her job as mayor.
The definition of growing up takes on a whole new meaning when your dad is the ‘world’s longest dachshund! Pretzel, Greta, husband and wife, and the puppies embark a fun and exciting journey as they grow up in Muttgomery. As a contemporary and diverse family, they are constantly looking for new ways to improve the lives of their friends and neighbors.
By resolving problems and offering help when needed, the family employs inventiveness, empathy, and fun to enrich their community. The individual skills and qualities of one puppy are highlighted in each episode to have a more diverse and inclusive show for Kids to catch on to.
