I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, published by Kakuyomu, is Japanese young adult fiction. It combines fantasy, science fiction, adventure, and action. It got acquired by Fujimi Shobo in 2018. However, it was initially presented as a web novel on the Kakuyomu website.
The anime is produced by Satoshi Motonaga and Takuma Kishida and written by Shin Itagaki. This article focuses only on the anime series, but it is also present in the form of Manga, Light Novels, and Novel Series. The directors are Shingo Tanabe and Shin Itagaki. The other forms of the series have different teams.
This anime series revolves around a submissive, short, and stout high schooler named Yuya Tenjo. On the one hand, his mates in high school never leave a chance to bully him. On the other hand, his parents torment him. He gets cared for and loved only by his grandfather.
Yuya Tenjo’s grandfather dies, and he inherits the house. So, his parents kick him out of their house, forcing him to live alone at his grandpa’s place. There, he finds a strange door that takes him to an unknown magical world.

Yuya Tenjo
You got introduced to the main character, Yuya Tenjo. The first episode has been released. Accordingly, Yuya’s parents always prefer his sister and brother over him. A new character female named Kaori Hojo gets introduced when Yuya saves her from the thugs and ends up getting beaten instead.
After entering the magical world, Yuya kills a monster with magical weapons. In turn, he gets muscular, tall, and handsome. He also purchases new clothes with the currency he gained there. He returns to high school with these changes. His siblings try to mock him. Meanwhile, Kaori immediately recognizes him.
The voice actor for this character is Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. The 36-year-old artist has been active since 2019. He got affiliated with a Japanese voice talent management firm, I’m Enterprise Co., Ltd.
Kaori Hōjō
Kaori got saved by Yuya from the thugs. She developed a soft corner for him. Her father is the chairman of the Ousei Academy. She asks Yuya to enroll in the academy and continues getting closer to him.
The voice actress for the character is a singer named ‘Akari Kitō.’ The 28-year-old voice actress got affiliated with Racoon Dog. She has also voiced for Nezuko Kamado and Barbara.
Lexia von Arcelia
Do you remember Yuya defeating a monster in the magical world in the first episode? He saved a princess, Lexia von Arcelia, of the Arselian Kingdom. Thereafter, she started liking him and struggled to win his heart.
Affiliated with Amuse, Kaori Maeda is the 26-year-old voice artist for this character. She is also a singer known for Hula Fulla Dance, Night Head 2041, and more. Kaori belongs to the Fifteen Voices music group.
Miu Midō
It seems like Yuya will not be a target anymore because the series has one more girl, a famous model Miu Midō, falling for him during the photoshoot. The 27-year-old voice actress, Sayaka Senbongi, has lent her voice to the character. Miu has been active since 2014 and worked for more than 30 series as a voice artist.
Kaede Kazama
Kaede Kazama means ‘maple breeze.’ She is a student with red eyes and hair, and studies at Ousei Academy. Her love interest is Yuya Tenjo. Ayana Taketatsu, the 33-year-old singer, is the voice actress for this character. She has been active since 2009 and worked for over 40 anime series since then.
