Gushing Over Magical Girls is a compelling Japanese magical girl manga story that has captivated readers since its March 2019 premiere on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website. Ten tankōbon volumes of the arrangement, which was made by the skilled Akihiro Ononaka, had been released by August 2023, demonstrating its popularity.
The popularity of the arrangement may be attributed, for the most part, to its production group, which is driven by Asahi Production and includes Masato Suzuki and Atsushi Ōtsuki.
The characters are given life by Yasuka Otakil’s creative touch, whereas Noboru Kimura, the series composer, skillfully ties the story together. A captivating musical backdrop is given by the gifted trio of Johannes Nilsson, Akinari Suzuki, and Yasuharu Takanashi.
The series’ wonderful atmosphere is further increased by the opening theme, “My Dream Girls,” which is performed by Nacherry, a singing team that comprises Natsumi Murakami and Chiemi Tanaka. The captivating world of magical girls that each scene explores is set in motion by this upbeat song. The closing music, “Togetoge Sadistic,” which is performed by the Enormita characters, is also very remarkable.
What is it all about?
The anime Gushing Over Magical Girls centers on Hiragi Utena, a common girl who is captivated by the magical girls guarding Radiant Heights. She is captivated by their dynamic transforms and valiant actions, and she spends her days submerged in their adventures.
She had no thought that her life would suddenly take an amazing turn. One day, Venalita, the interesting creature that had spoken to the Enormita group, came up to Utena. Venalita allowed her to end up a magical girl since she thought she had something uncommon.
Utena excitedly accepted, looking forward to a life of equity and bravery and excited at the chance to follow in the footsteps of her heroes. But everything turned upside down when Utena changed into a supernatural girl.
Despite her goals to become to be a benevolent person, she finished up driving the Enormita organization and on the side of evil. She was around to give up after this stunning discovery, but at that point, something unforeseen happened: she started to find a peculiar thrill in mixing up trouble.

Accepting her position as the head of the Enormita gathers, Utena started torturing the very magical females she had once revered, especially the three members of Tres Magia. She was very proficient at it and enjoyed causing mayhem and ruin.
What started as a journey to embrace her dark side finished up with a stunning adventure to quit. The fights between Utena and Tres Magia became into legendary skirmishes with amazing spectacle.
The formerly distinct demarcation between right and wrong became hazy, and Utena’s personality took on surprising dimensions. The usual magical girl plot gained complexity from her mental struggle between loving her role as a mischievous person and being a fan of the magical girls.
Utena’s path was a deep investigation of her character rather than merely a series of fights and conflicts. She struggled with difficult decisions, confronted her ambitions, and wondered what it meant to be a true hero. Taking viewers on a journey through the vibrant realm of magical combat, the anime subverted the conventional hero-versus-villain plot.
Utena Hiiragi’s story in Gushing Over Magical Girls wasn’t like any other magical girl tale. It offered a story full of turns and turns, going beyond the typical plot. The anime explored the gray areas that exist in the hearts of people who are typically viewed as either heroes or villains, rather than focusing just on magical fights.
The plot of Utena’s stories had viewers on the edge of their seats as the anime developed. Would she accept her evil side to the fullest or would she manage to make peace with her newly cruel desires and her love of magical girls?
