We saw that Tadeo had assisted Julio with his work in exchange for Julio telling him what was happening. However, once Roberta is aware of what she does, she looks further and uncovers proof of the boy’s disappearance, which she then presents to Julio.
He attacks Emilio in a rage, but Elena responds on his behalf. When Emilio learns that Remigio isn’t just torturing the boys, she informs Julio that Remigio has attempted to kill him. When Julio arrives at the orphanage, he immediately starts to hit Tadeo before Jonathan intervenes and stops him. Julio sees that he has been misled after looking at the scenario. The full truth is then told to him by Tadeo.

A brief recap
When Emilio mistreated the boys at the orphanage, Remigio would assist in moving them to a more secure location. However, when they came upon Jonathan, who could do miracles, they sought to safeguard him at all costs.
Yet Emilio had developed a great liking for him and thought they were in love. The previous evening, he had visited the orphanage searching for Jonathan, but Remigio had resisted him. He murdered Emilio to keep Jonathan safe. Tadeo informs Julio that Elena is aware of Emilio’s transgression.
In truth, Elena moved Tadeo to a chamber with a key while Emilio began looking at him when he was a smaller boy so that he could defend himself and be safe. However, they couldn’t have been able to keep all of the lads safe.
By asking Remigio what transpired with the boys and responding that he had no knowledge Brian wasn’t an orphan, Roberta also learns about this. Roberta’s only option for revealing the truth is to get Remigio to tell the other people what he told her. Osario, however, approaches him first and gets to him before she can.
He discovered Emilio was a pedophile from Brian, whom he abducted and coerced into speaking by using his mom as pressure. Even Tadeo and Jonathan were abducted by Osario when they attempted to flee the country. A cornered Remigio submits to Osario’s demands when he learns that Tadeo and Jonathan have made it out unharmed.
Osario expects Remigio to bear the blame for Emilio’s actions. Roberta’s last chance for the whole truth to come out is killed when Remigio is discovered hanging in his cell after writing and signing the letter Osario demands.
She leaves feeling disappointed and angry as her team is split up and moved to various departments. As for Tadeo and Jonathan, they manage to leave the nation without incident, thanks in part to his abilities. However, Tadeo claims that they are currently unable to use the powers, and they are also unable to travel back to their home nation for several years.
They decided to cultivate a small but devoted fan base in the new nation to avoid detection. Julio learns that Osrio is aware of Emilio’s pedophilia but has no intention of taking action. In reality, he threatens Julio with being exposed to Ann for laundering money if he causes any trouble, thereby blackmailing Julio.
As a result, Julio arranges for Ann to depart the country and delivers her to the airport with the assurance that he will be there shortly after. But similarly to how Emilio is about to reveal his cabinet, Osario sends Ann back, much to his disgust.
Since Remigio is no longer alive and Ann is once again in danger, Julio is without a way out. When Emilio introduces him as his chief of staff, he finds his options even more limited. Ann runs outside when she notices it, thinking that Julio has been entirely engulfed in her dad’s empire’s swamp.
