The Haikyu manga that ended almost two years ago is celebrating its 10th anniversary in the 20th issue of this year in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. This is one of the projects that was announced during the Jump Festa 2022. During the Jump Festa 2022, fans were waiting for Haikyu!! Season 5 announcement; However, there were many projects announced instead. One of the projects includes a special Haikyu!! x V League Collaboration Match that will happen in August 2022. All the other projects, including this one, might lead up to the Collaboration Match project.
Although we may not have the specific dates of the Season 5 of the Haikyu, which is very anticipated because the rivals Karasuno and Nekoma will finally have an official match, we will have a one-shot manga to celebrate the 10th year of the Manga. Haruichi Furudate wrote and illustrated the Japanese manga series Haikyu!! The manga first launched in February 2012 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. After a long run of 402 chapters, it came to an end in July 2020 eight years later. The chapters have been collected into 45 volumes in which the last volume was dropped in November 2022. As of 2022, it has been 10 years since the manga first launched, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary; the manga is getting a 19-page one-shot story.
The one-shot manga was a part of one of the many projects when announced back during the Jump Festa 2022. It will finally debut in the next issue of the Weekly shonen jump magazine on 25th April.
