Surbiton Springs, developed by Surman Weston, is a two-bedroom new-build home with a white exterior reminiscent of the area’s modern white villas but rather civic buildings from the 1930s.
Suffolk Cottage was built with modest resources and some self-building by Haysom Ward Miller Architects. Seabreeze, made by RX Architects, features a mini spa, tailor-made drinks cabinets, and a changing backdrop.
Chiles Evans plus Care Architects Ltd modernized Ravine House. Peeking House, which was developed under Fletcher Crane Architects, was built on a tight, constrained site. 31 44 Architects and Taylor Made Space molded Norfolk Barn’s steel frame into a luxurious space.
CAN’s Mountain View Fun and unexpected old-new blending. Prewett Bizley’s Mews House Deep Retrofit Refurbishing a London end-terrace mews meant removing the initial decor to create a more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient residence.
Mere House by Mole Designers is a flipside Passivhaus-style home with an upstairs cooking area, living room, and bedroom. Blee Halligan’s Derbyshire Derwent Valley Villa is a completely separate living area scattered across the premises.
Leyton House, developed by McMahon Architecture Ltd in London. House at Lough Beg, constructed by McGonigle McGrath from Northern Ireland, Ostro Passivhaus by Paper Igloo from Scotland, and The Cowshed, which Crawshaw Architects LLP developed in Dorset. And Indeed, the Den, made by Technique Architecture and Design in cooperation with Stallan-Brandin Scotland, is also showcased.
Grand Designs: House of the Year Season 7 Episode 2 release date and Recap
The latest episode of the series, Grand Designs: House of the Year Season 7 Episode 2, is scheduled to be released on 23rd November. In this episode, we expect to see Kevin McCloud, as well as other experts, travel to five different houses that have been subjected to extraordinary renovations.
