Golden Mage Chapter 22 Recap

Chapter 22 of Golden Mage opens up with the conversation between King Ledolph and Sir Ellmis. They were talking about the Manticore Valley. Sir Ellmis wants to take care of Manticore Valley for the King. It looks like King cannot believe what he is hearing right now about the Ellmis.

According to him, Manticore Valley is the land of death. No one can make it there safely. But Ellmis has confidence in himself and his magical skills. He can even handle the situation within three years. But first, he must know the number of beasts there.

The last time, the King saw ten thousand beasts attack the Kingdom the previous year. And King can guess the number of beasts in the Manticore Valley, maybe fifty thousand.

Sir Ellmis is a top-level mage who can handle the number. He is the only one in an entire Kingdom who can do it for the king. But it takes some time for him. The artwork showing the beasts getting ready for the attack is beautiful.

Later in the Chapter, we discover that the King is happy now as Sir Ellmis is getting ready to go to Manticore Valley and save the Kingdom for the King. But they keep coming, and all the soldiers look tired and don’t have the energy to take on any other beasts. It looks like the win is going toward the beasts, then suddenly Kaina comers who help them. Now Sir Ellmis, Kaina, and Captain Myder battling.
