The God of War Laufey – Forging God of War’s Next Heroes panel is scheduled for Friday, July 24, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM PT in Ballroom 20 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Leading the discussion will be Game Director Ariel Lawrence and Santa Monica Studio Head of Creative Cory Barlog, who will be joined by Deborah Ann Woll (Laufey), Chris Judge (Kratos), Jack Quaid (Phranque), and Perlina Lau (Rue). According to PlayStation, the panel marks the first time the cast has appeared together since the game’s reveal.

Sony says attendees can expect

While Sony has not announced whether new gameplay will be shown, the dedicated developer session suggests fans will get a deeper look at the game’s world, characters, and creative direction.

PlayStation will also spotlight MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, where developers from Arc System Works and Marvel Games will discuss the game’s development while teasing behind-the-scenes content and surprise announcements.

PlayStation expands its presence across Comic-Con

Beyond the panels, PlayStation is organizing several fan activities throughout Comic-Con. Visitors can stop by the Marvel Booth for Marvel’s Wolverine photo opportunities, collectible giveaway items, and a free Marvel’s Wolverine Prequel Comic while supplies last.

Fans can also find a Marvel’s Wolverine-themed San Diego Trolley, visit the Omni Hotel Lawn for themed experiences, or head to the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina to play MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls and take photos with Doctor Doom and Storm statues.

Although God of War Laufey remains the centerpiece of PlayStation’s Comic-Con lineup, the event highlights Sony’s broader slate of upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusives. For fans eager to learn more about Santa Monica Studio’s next chapter, the July 24 panel is shaping up to be one of Comic-Con 2026’s most anticipated gaming presentations.
