Jenny Kinam and Gwang-ik are still going at it as Kinam tries to kill Gwang-ik, and rightfully so, as he got knocked out by him some time ago. Gwang-ik manages to knock out Kinam again, and so the riff-raff stops for the time being. Gwang-ik’s co-workers get frustrated by seeing Kinam and Gwang-ik disturbing them, so they ask both of them to stop their fighting. Some people even consider that Gwang-ik is bullying Kinam, but he disagrees with the allegation as he says that they are just playing around.
Gwang-ik inquires about the team manager from his co-workers, and they tell him that he is out of work. Gwang-ik then opens his laptop and finds many job requests from various associations for him. His co-worker tells him that all those messages are spams. Gwang-ik realizes that all these requests are because the other companies want to know what happened to the director Ma Yoon. He thinks that there might have already been various assumptions circulating regarding this issue which makes it obvious that everyone would try to reach out to him to get all the details.
Gwang-ik gets happy seeing such demand for him and thinks it would be nice for him to meet them first. Suddenly a support call arrives due to a hole opening in the region, and Jeong-ah and Gwang-ik get sent to the Dongdaemun station to take care of the matter. They both arrive at the site, and while they discuss their strategy for attack, a mysterious figure walks up to them and greets Gwang-ik. The man continues to talk, but Gwang-ik ignores him and starts walking away, but he reaches him again and starts checking his appearance.
The man looks at Gwang-ik in awe as he wonders if any immortal could look like that, but he stops as soon as the hole starts to open. The hole reveals a No. 3 first-type decaying slime along with some poisonous gases. The mysterious man introduces himself as Jeong Dongchan and states that it is worth visiting this place as he has got to meet a famous person. Another mysterious person arrives and starts destroying the slimes by controlling fire which surprises Gwang-ik. The man introduces himself as the flame surgeon, Kim Malwon.
Malwon requests Gwang-ik to join his association and says that it’s the only reason he came to handle a C-rank hole. Dongchan shouts at Malwon and tells him that it is rude to ignore the job at hand and tells Gwang-ik to stop listening to him. Malwon gets angry and challenges Dongchan as they both stand in front of each other with killer intent. They both rush to request Gwang-ik to join their association and offer various things in exchange if he agrees. The situation soon gets drastic as even more monsters emerge from the hole, and so everyone shifts their focus toward them. Finally, Lee Joonbong arrives as support.
