There was a series with the intention of bringing some relief as well as laughter to the minds and souls of K-Drama fans in a year full of climactic thrillers that have given fans anxiety, heartbreaking melodramas, quick-paced action drama, and heartbreaking healing dramas that may have taken the viewing audience on an emotional rollercoaster. Gaus Electronics is the company’s name. Even though Gus Electronics is just in its fourth episode, it has already established itself as one of the funniest and, dare we say, best K-Dramas to be produced this year.
The web drama chronicles the tale of the quirky members of Marketing team 3 at the global conglomerate “Gaus Electronics” in a straightforward but hilarious way. The outcasts of the corporation, this eclectic crew is determined to transform their reputation from “losers” to a “prominent portion” of the company. Are they going to be able to accomplish their objectives with so many obstacles in their way? And would their shared interests and regular interactions lead to a love relationship? Throughout the duration of the series, this question may receive the funniest responses.
This article contains all the details on Gaus Electronics K-Drama Episode 5.
Gaus Electronics – Cast
This kind of drama may not certainly be the type based on the preponderance of the cast. From Kwak DongYeon, who is renowned for his outstanding performances in suspense dramas, to Baek HyunJin, who has always portrayed villains in recent years. Or Heo JungDo, who’s currently portraying one of the drama’s most grating characters, “Mental Coach Jegal,” another drama about healing.
Kwak DongHyeon’s performance in this drama is certainly deserving of recognition. He engages in some hilarious dialogue with Ko SungHee’s character Cha NaRae. Another funny character is Bae HyeonSeok, who isn’t even trying to be funny. His portrayal as a wealthy but slightly dim son of a business elite is such a novel element of the show. We become intrigued by his endearing and amusing exchanges with Geon KangMi (acted by Kang MinAh).
Gaus Electronics Episode 3&4 – Recap
In last week’s episodes, we saw how Ma-tan tries to adjust to a so-called “peasant life” by taking a bus to work and living in a studio, hilariously acting like a martyr. Even though he himself doesn’t find any sense in living in a “studio” or taking a bus when his own house is big enough that it can easily house a family of five and his special chauffeur service ferrying him to work is his idea of taking the bus—he charters a VIP bus.
Manager Gi then notices Ma-tan’s men arrive in a vehicle, prepared to drive him home. Manager Gi rushes over to stop them because he believes they are debt sharks about to abduct a helpless orphan for unpaid loans. Manager Gi tends to assume that Ma-tan’s lack of acquaintance with fundamental Korean dishes and manners indicates that he was raised in a low-income household.
Through a sequence of unfortunate events, which Geon Kang-Mi is the only one aware of Ma-tan’s true social standing. While Kang-mi swears to keep quiet and uses his secret to pay off debt, she is almost as poor at keeping it a secret as Ma-tan. She trembles whenever the term “power” is used at work.
Sang-shik’s miserable romantic life. Sang-shik fears Hae-young will misunderstand him after observing Na-rae clutching Sang-shik for her life due to her arachnophobia. He enlists Na-rae’s assistance in resolving the issue with Hae-young, who is evidently unconcerned.
