Game Freak has responded to criticism surrounding the launch of Beast of Reincarnation, confirming that the action RPG will receive continuous updates aimed at improving its gameplay experience. The announcement follows player feedback about performance, camera behavior, readability, and pacing, all of which contributed to the game’s mixed reception.
In a statement shared on the studio’s official X account, Game Freak thanked players for trying the game and pledged ongoing support.
“We take your feedback to heart and are currently planning a series of continuous updates.”

According to the developer, the first patch is expected to arrive within the next week and will include several highly requested improvements. Planned changes include camera adjustments, general bug fixes, larger default text, and making Performance Mode the default graphics setting. The studio also confirmed that the game’s narrative pacing will be refined through this and future updates.
One of the most common complaints since launch has been the game’s small text size, particularly for players gaming from a couch on television screens. The upcoming patch directly addresses that issue while also targeting gameplay improvements.
Despite praise for its combat mechanics, Beast of Reincarnation has received a mixed response from both critics and players. The game currently holds a “Mixed” user rating on Steam, where many reviews cite technical shortcomings and inconsistent design decisions.
Publisher Fictions has also opened an official feedback form, encouraging players to report bugs and gameplay issues as Game Freak continues refining the RPG through future updates.
