The third and latest Fantastic Beasts movie just hit the theatres on 8th April 2022. J.K Rowling’s Wizarding World delivers yet again with magic, mystery, action, and drama. Fantastic Beast: Secrets of Dumbledore was the most awaited one amongst the lot as it takes you into the life of Albus Dumbledore. Unlike the other two movies, this one explores the Wizarding World a lot more. But the Fantastic Beasts 3 ending will leave you with more questions than answers.
Apart from magic, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is also about love and pain and loneliness. Despite being the greatest Wizard, Albus is reluctant to be in a position of power. And in the end, he is left all by himself. The only person Albus ever loved was Grindelwald, and they could not be together. As Love blinds you and takes over you, Albus’s biggest fear is that being with Grindelwald brings out his destructiveness.
Dumbledore’s dialogue in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows makes sense now, that says
“I have proven as a very young man that power was my weakness and my temptation”

Fantastic Beasts 3 Ending Explained
The movie’s premise is – Dumbledore vs Grindelwald. The former makes Magizoologist Newt Scamander, the leader of the group that defends against the latter.
In the latter half of the movie, all the wizards gather at the Kingdom of Bhutan where the elections for the leader of the ‘International Confederation of Wizards’ are taking place.
Grindelwald tampers with the election process and becomes the leader. However, later on, his fraudulence is caught, so round 2 of the elections begins. Much to Dumbledore’s dislike, the shilling bows down to him. But as he promised himself not to be in control of any superior power, he doesn’t accept the leadership.
Moreover, a battle ensues after Grindelwald attacks Credence. This makes Albus and Aberforth Dumbledore counterattack. And the spells all together create a protection spell that saves Credence. That’s because Dumbledore sought to protect and Grindelwald sought to kill. So, the spells meet and take them into another dimension. But it breaks the blood bond That Albus and Grindelwald once shared and sets them free.
After that, everyone returns from Bhutan to their loved ones. But Dumbledore is the exception here, as he does not have loved ones. This is the origin of the lonely but powerful Albus Dumbledore we know & love from Harry Potter.

Signs and Symbols You Might Have Missed
The Fantastic Beasts series is a J. K Rowling’s creation so you can imagine the attention to detail. Similar to the Harry Potter Series, this one also has easter eggs here and there, for example – The Phoenix. Remember the Phoenix that followed Credence throughout the series? that represents death lingering over his head. And Credence was indeed attacked by Grindelwald. And although he was saved, he was still badly hurt. Fans suggest the possibility that Credence will succumb to his wounds, leaving Aberforth alone.
When Snape said he will “Always” love Lily, we all cried and that iconic line/word repeats itself in this movie as well. When Credence asks his father Aberforth if he ever thought of him, Aberforth replied, “Always”.

Jude Law is Albus Dumbledore of the Fantastic Beasts era. Mads Mikkelsen plays Gellert Grindelwald, and ‘Theory of Everything’ fame Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander.
It also stars ‘The Flash’ fame Ezra Miller as Credence Barebone, later came to be known as Aurelius Dumbledore. Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Katherine Waterston as Queenie’s sister Propertina Goldstein, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, and many others.
Will There Be More Movies From The Series?
According to J. K Rowling, there should be two more movies following The Secrets of Dumbledore. But there has been no official announcement as of yet. The final movie of the Fantastic Beast Series will take place in the 1940s and will feature an epic showdown. This showdown will mark the end of the Global Wizarding War, where Albus defeats Gellert for good.
However, the latest movie, Fantastic Beast: The Secrets of Dumbledore, also showed a Duel between Albus and Gellert. And that got fans wondering whether this was the last movie. But Grindelwald disappears by the end of the duel, which means he is not defeated. Probably this is just a teaser dual, and fans will witness another one in preceding films.
