Fanfare of Adolescence is an original anime series produced by Aniplex Studios. The Story follows Yuu Arimura a former Idol in the Japan Entertainment Industry who after witnessing a Horse Race was utterly fascinated by it. Now Aspiring to be a Jockey Himself, Yuu gets enrolled in a Prestigious Horse Racing school. In the School, he meets many new competitors and rivals of the same age who has nonetheless the same aspirations as Yuu. Yuu gradually becomes a part of this new horse racing world and tries to learn the ways of being a Jockey while also living a Fun life with his friends. Recap of Episode 12
Episode 12 was titled, “1700 Meters on the Dirt”. This episode focuses on the Mock Race between the Students of the Horse Racing School. The training teacher announced that there will a total of 8 Mock Races which will be held in three months. Out of the 8 Mock Races 7 Races will be considered for Practice only and the results will not be considered for final Grading.

Only the 8th Mock race which will be held on their Graduation Day will be their last and the grandest Race. During the races almost all of the first five races were won by Maki Kouta and seeing his determination, Yuu decides to overcome him in the 6th Race. With a Proper plan, Yuu takes first place in the 6th Mock Race. Having lost in the Race, Maki confronts Yuu and challenges him head on for the next race. And tells him that he will not lose to him by no means.
What Will Happen in Fanfare of Adolescence Episode 13?
Episode 12 Ended with Shun witnessing Maki’s anger and self-reflection towards his loss in the previous Mock Race. Shun seems pretty disturbed about the whole situation with Maki as he is a very empathetic person. Maki’s background is what makes him different from others as his only choice is to do better at these mock races and make a name for himself or all his hard work will be for nothing. And this determination of Maki is understandable by Shun. Episode 13 will mostly focus on the 7th Mock Race where all the students will race for the ultimate First place. As at the last Race the first place title was seized by Yuu after he outsmarted Maki during the race.

Now all the other students are also fired up and will give their best to place first in the 7th Mock Race. The last Mock Race will be held on their graduation day, 10 days after the 7th Mock Race and will be the deciding race for their grades and License. But aside from all this, the most important thing that was foreshadowed In this episode was in the end credits of episode 12. As the End credits is hinting at a serious conversation between Shun and Yuu. And fans think that it might be related to Shun’s future as a Jockey that he will probably quit being a Jockey and will rather focus his attention on taming horses for other Jockeys. If this happens it will be a very heartbreaking moment for the fans. Let’s see what happens in the final episode of the series.
