In the previous chapter, we saw Gangrim being taken to the 1st region leader by its members. 1st region leader Hong Daehoon asked Gangrim to join them, but he instantly refused as he wanted to clear this level alone. He tried to walk away from the 1st region, but his refusal made their leader enraged, and he immediately stood up and placed his spear on Gangrim’s neck while asking him to cooperate with them.
Gangrim didn’t get phased even a bit by this threat and asked them if they hadn’t found the advanced condition yet. He starts to walk away from the Daehoon by saying that he wants to clear this level alone, but his path gets blocked. Daehoon says that he isn’t giving Gangrim a choice. He has to either cooperate or he will have to die in this place.

Daehoon announces to everyone in the 1st region that they cannot kill Gangrim because of the strange item he possesses, due to which anyone who tries to kill him will also be killed. Gangrim asks if he can leave the place, but Daehoon starts attacking him by telling everyone to just beat him to the brink of death. Gangrim easily avoids the first strike, and by using his various skills like “Man in Solitude,” he evades the attacks from all the members of the first region and manages to slip past them. He then uses a fruit he collected earlier to set fire to their camp and walks away.
Gangrim now understands why the regions were on bad terms in his previous life. He then heads over to Shin Sooah’s group because he doesn’t want this life to be the same as his previous life. He arrives at her base and announces that the people of the other region are going to ambush them soon, so he has a suggestion.
Gangrim brings out the heavenly aroma of fruit and asks everyone to eat it and clear the level with intermediate difficulty for free. This way, they all can get out of this level before the people of other regions catch up. They all get overjoyed and start eating while thanking Gangrim.
Sooah gets worried about Gangrim, but he tells her to worry about her team as he is not one of them in this life and walks away. Gangrim then returns to the forest and searches it to find the whereabouts of the monster’s hideout. After some searching, he eventually finds out a space beneath a tree and enters it. After going deeper into the cave, Gangrim eventually finds himself in a beautiful landscape with various trees. The trees have the fruit of all scents which Gangrim obtains and marks the fulfillment of the conditions of the “Room of spoken sins.”
Gangrim then decides to leave the place without getting spotted, but suddenly an explosion takes place in the area. He turns around to find that it’s Daehoon and the members of the first region. He asks them if they followed him there, and Daehoon replies that he found him while on his way to the second region. Gangrim gets enraged at seeing an unconscious person from the second region with them.
