The Epic Seven World Championship 2026 (E7WC 2026) has entered its Knockout Stage, bringing 16 competitors into the next phase of the global esports tournament. Publisher Smilegate announced that the matches began on October 24, with players competing for four places in the championship Finals scheduled for November 28 in South Korea.
The tournament centers on Epic Seven’s real-time PvP mode, World Arena. Fourteen players advanced from the Group Stage, while Hazamarei and MagicQi earned direct qualification by finishing first and second in the newly introduced Epic Seven Masters 2026 online league.
Matches take place every weekend through November 14, beginning at 03:00 UTC. The Double-Elimination format gives competitors another opportunity after a loss, although a second defeat ends their tournament run.
DEFENDING CHAMPION XIAOXUENAI SURVIVES GROUP STAGE
The Group Stage took place across four days on October 10, 11, 17, and 18, producing several notable matches. Defending champion XiaoXuenai faced a potential early exit after losing to FN in the Upper Bracket but won the deciding match to secure a place in the Knockout Stage.
OMEGA also drew attention with a comeback victory in Group E. The player used Salome, a Hero capable of cloning opposing Heroes, to turn a difficult match around. These performances set up an important next phase as competitors fight for a place in the Finals. The tournament details were confirmed in Smilegate’s announcement, also reported by Inven Global.
Fans can watch the Epic Seven World Championship 2026 matches through the game’s official Epic Seven YouTube channel and Twitch broadcasts, with live coverage available in four languages.
Smilegate is also offering Twitch Drops for viewers and plans to reveal coupon codes during the live broadcasts. Players can participate in an in-game Match Prediction event by predicting match results for a chance to earn rewards.
The Knockout Stage will determine the final four competitors who advance to the championship Finals on November 28 at Lotte Cinema World Tower SUPER PLEX in Jamsil, South Korea. More tournament information is available through the official Epic Seven community.
