Smilegate has officially launched the Epic Seven Summer 2026 update, bringing one of the mobile RPG’s biggest seasonal content drops yet. Headlined by the debut of the new Limited Hero Eye of the Abyss Fumyr, the update also introduces a brand-new Special Side Story, generous login rewards, and the highly anticipated Epic Dash event, offering players significant opportunities to strengthen their rosters.
Running through August 27, the Epic Dash campaign features some of the most valuable rewards ever offered in the game, including up to 100 free Moonlight Hero summons, multiple 5★ Hero Selectors, upgraded equipment, and progression bonuses.
Alongside these rewards, players can experience a summer-themed story set along the Aelo Coast and participate in several limited-time events designed to accelerate character growth. The latest update reinforces Smilegate’s commitment to keeping Epic Seven fresh with new heroes, engaging stories, and rewarding seasonal content for both veteran and returning players.
Eye of the Abyss Fumyr leads Epic Seven’s summer story
The centerpiece of the Summer 2026 update is Eye of the Abyss Fumyr, a new 5★ Earth Elemental Mage available through July 16. She takes center stage in the Special Side Story, Show Me What Lies Within, where she travels to the Aelo Coast in search of Harsetti, the sovran of the Shadow Elves. However, her investigation quickly turns into a series of unexpected events.
Fumyr also introduces a powerful combat mechanic. Her Skill 3, Eye of the Abyss, inflicts Detain on the foremost enemy Hero, temporarily removing that unit from battle. This ability allows players to dismantle the opponent’s frontline and create favorable combat situations.
The Special Side Story will remain available until August 6. In addition to its coastal-themed narrative featuring characters such as Birgitta and her assistant Aube, players can enjoy a classic territory-capture arcade mini-game that rewards high-quality illustrations and various in-game items.
Epic Dash event offers 100 free Moonlight summons and premium rewards
Smilegate’s Epic Dash event is the biggest highlight of the update, running from June 25 through August 27. Players can complete daily and weekly missions to increase their Mission Pass rank and unlock an extensive collection of rewards.
Among the top prizes are a fully built 5★ Hero Selector, a 5★ Limited Hero Selector, a standard 5★ Hero Selector, Summon Currencies, Equipment Sets, and other progression materials designed to help players strengthen their teams much faster than usual.
The accompanying Premium Moonlight Summon event further boosts rewards by granting players up to 100 free Moonlight Hero summons simply through daily logins. Players will also receive a 5★ Light Elemental Hero Summon Ticket after completing 20 summons and a 5★ Dark Elemental Hero Summon Ticket after reaching 100 summons.
Smilegate has also included the Lucky Dash event, offering additional Equipment and Charms, along with the Epic Dash Buff event, which provides powerful in-game bonuses throughout the campaign. Together, these events make the Summer 2026 update one of the most rewarding periods in Epic Seven’s history.
