Dune: Awakening is preparing for its long-awaited console release, and Funcom has now revealed the official server lineup for Xbox and PlayStation players. Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners will receive a five-day head start beginning September 17, while the full console launch follows on September 22.

Dune: Awakening Console Servers and Pre-Load Details

Funcom confirmed that pre-loading begins on September 15 at approximately 1 PM CEST, allowing players to install the game ahead of the head start. Xbox and PlayStation players will have separate regional server options, with the available worlds divided across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Oceania.

Xbox’s September 17 head-start servers include two options for Europe, four for North America, two for Asia, and one each for South America and Oceania. PlayStation players will have four European servers, three North American servers, two Asian servers, and one each for South America and Oceania during the head start.

The official Dune: Awakening server announcement explains that each World contains multiple Sietches that share the same Deep Desert and social hubs, while individual servers maintain their own persistent Hagga Basin. Players planning to join friends should therefore select the same World before beginning their journey.

The September 22 launch will also introduce the game’s long-requested single-player mode, alongside the final chapter of Book One’s story. Funcom has additionally confirmed that cross-play is planned for after the console launch, although a release date has not yet been announced.
