Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially released DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2: Future Saga Chapter 4, marking the end of the game’s long-running downloadable content roadmap. The new expansion concludes the four-part Future Saga storyline and closes nearly a decade of post-launch support for the action RPG, which first launched in 2016.
The final DLC is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Alongside the standalone release, Bandai Namco has also introduced the Future Saga Pack, allowing players to access all four Future Saga chapters in a single bundle.
The release serves as the final chapter in one of the longest-supported Dragon Ball games, bringing Fu’s time-altering storyline to its conclusion while adding new playable content for longtime fans.
Future Saga reaches its conclusion with new characters and story content
The Future Saga began with Fu attempting to manipulate the future before his experiments escalated into a threat capable of destabilizing history itself. By Chapter 3, Fu had joined forces with Golden Frieza, unleashing new supervillain powers that pushed Conton City into chaos.
In Future Saga Chapter 4, players must stop Fu’s final plan before the heroes who protected Earth disappear from history. The DLC introduces Supreme Kai of Time (Ultra Supervillain) and Goku (Ultra Supervillain Quelled) as two new playable characters while expanding the game’s roster with additional content.
Players can also experience the final Extra Missions Arc, new Ultra Time Patrol Battles, a Time Gallery feature, additional Parallel Quests, new combat moves, costumes, and other rewards designed to bring the Future Saga to its finale.
Nearly 10 years of support come to an end

Bandai Namco described Chapter 4 as the conclusion of the game’s extensive post-launch journey, which has continued to receive new content for almost a decade after release.
DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 remains one of the franchise’s most successful action RPGs, allowing players to create their own Time Patroller, explore Conton City, train with iconic Dragon Ball characters, and battle across altered timelines to preserve history.
While Chapter 4 marks the end of new DLC for Xenoverse 2, Bandai Namco confirmed it will continue sharing news and updates about DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3, the next mainline entry in the series.
