Kesha and Dr. Luke have call-out to an agreement after years of lengthy defamation cases. After going back and forth in court, it looked like both avowed to settlement. Also, both of them shared on Instagram and said that they agreed to a resolution of the case.
Lukasz Gottwald is an American Producer who is better known as Dr. Luke. He sued Kesha in 2014 for defaming and false rape allegations against him to get rid of the contract. Kesha Rose Sebert, who is popularly known as Kesha, got famous for Tik Tok and We R Who We R, which was produced by Dr. Luke.
In 2014, Kesha sued Dr. Luke and sought to void their recording contract. Kesha’s lawyers argued that Dr. Luke made their client suffer sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. At that point, she (Kesha) also decided to lose her life.

The court started its trial on 19 July. New York court ruled for Dr. Luke, who raised the burden of proof for the producer and successfully proved that he had been framed in the case. As he is a public figure, the allegation had been defamed him. However, the terms and deal of the settlement are still unknown.
Both shared the Instagram statement regarding the case they agreed to issue and posted a joint statement regarding that resolution. Kesha also penned and further added only god knows what happened that night, as Kesha had always said that she couldn’t recount everything that happened.
Also, she is looking forward to closing the door on this chapter(case) of her life and beginning with a new one. She wishes nothing but peace to all parties involved.
Dr. Luke recorded with famous artists like Flo Rida, Avril Lavigne, and Katy Perry. He said that he was grateful to put that difficult matters behind him and move on with his life. And Luke also added that he still appreciates Kesha again, acknowledging that she could not recount what happened that night in 2005.
He was so sure that nothing had happened. Luke also confessed that he never drugged or assaulted her, and he never did that to anyone. For the sake of his family, he had vigorously fought to clear his name for nearly ten years. In the end, he wished well for Kesha.
However, Dr. Luke denied the allegations since the start. He firmly stood up for himself and claimed that he never did wrong to Kesha. He always Treated her like his little sister. Relating to the case, over Twenty-three thousand people had signed to a petition aimed at the company.
To persuade the company to consent to release her from the contract. The producer said that it was sad that she(Kesha) turned a contract negotiation into something so horrendous and untruthful. Many celebrities and artists showed their support to them.
One of the famous artists, Taylor Swift, gave her helping hand to Kesha and donated two hundred and fifty thousand dollars to pay her legal charges against her accuser. The former Kesha producer also feared the allegations, which were all made against him that could have caused damage to his fame. He also tweeted that he has three sisters, a daughter, and a son with his girlfriend.
Moreover, his mom, who is a feminist and added that she raised him right. Whereas Kesha’s lawyers had no response to comment on these tweets. If we say that the case is still going on as the judges held off their decisions on discharging both claims.
Before this, in 2014, Kesha also accused her former collaborator Katy Perry of raping, drugging, and sexually assaulting her. Which led to a defamation suit against her. However, Perry clearly denied the claims in 2016, and the case was dismissed. Both Kesha and Katy did a collaboration on the album called “True Love” before the allegations.
Recently in an interview, Kesha said that she had been sick of pretending everything is all good, and that is true. Overall, Kesha and Luke decided to have agreed to a settlement after their extended legal battle. The specific details of the settlement are still unknown.
